Celebrating a Special Visit

Ojay Music, our reigning Artiste of the Year, made a memorable visit to the office of the Upper West Regional Police Commander, DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey, on January 16, 2024.

Accompanied by the Upper West Music Awards Scheme, the visit was part of Ojay's familiarization tour to connect with great personalities in the region.

DCOP Mr. Darko Offei Lomotey welcomed Ojay, his team, and the Upper West Music Awards team with insightful advice. Emphasizing the importance of protecting one's talent, he urged musicians to avoid social vices, especially the use of drugs that may harm their artistic abilities.

The Regional Police Commander emphasized the value of investing wisely in their musical careers, advising against unnecessary spending. He encouraged musicians to create timeless music with meaningful lyrics that serve as a beacon of hope, motivation, and education for both current and future generations.
