Through his initiatives, he has imparted valuable skills in areas such as soap making, Bio-fill toilet digester installation, interior decoration, satellite installation, and various other essential fields.

On this auspicious day, the 21st of September in the year 2023, we commemorate the one hundred and fourteenth anniversary of the birth of Dr. Francis Weah Ngonloma, who is also recognized by the name Kwame Nkrumah, as meticulously documented by the Roman priest who officiated his baptism during his infancy. We extend our profound felicitations to this distinguished individual for his ceaseless and monumental contributions to the advancement of not only the African continent but also the global community. It is with great reverence and admiration that we wish this eminent founder a most joyous and reverential day!

One of the major take homes from the University is self development/building which is very crucial to every university student with regards to life after school.
Don't just pass through the university but rather let it pass through you because At the end of the day it's not about your class but rather about your network and the value you have to offer.
This is the main reason why the Scholars Forum - A students led media outlet on SDD UBIDS campus offer a platform for the voices of students to be heard beyond campus in order for them to improve on their public speaking, leadership and communication skills including the ability to articulate ideas and self expression. We also offer this same platform for the talents of students to be brought to light. Every student is free to come on our shows to share their ideas on matters relating to students welfare and international issues as well.
This show is particularly meant to give students and student leaders the opportunity to express their POINT OF VIEW with regards to the recent increments in school fees and the role of student leaders in that regard.

The TTFPP/PTP Field experiences

We had a conversation with people who have been to the field/communities before, for them to share some of the experiences they had and stuff concerning how students need to conduct themselves in the field.
Our guests shared some interesting stuff including
children
on top of trees
issue of witchcraft and magical powers
Etc. And how the TTFPP/PTP has impacted their academy life.
We also had a discussion around the issue of stopping the TTFPP/PTP and replacing the trimester system with a semester system as a concern raised by some students.

It has always been a challenge for Aspirants to get access to an avenue to reach out to students. Over the years many have resorted to social media and face to face approach which is usually hectic and does not solve the problem entirely.
Moreover and most important is the fact that students don't get the opportunity to know more details about all aspirants in order to make a well informed decision in the voting process.

Since the beginning, trees have furnished us with two of life’s essentials, food and oxygen. As we evolved, they provided additional necessities such as shelter, medicine, and tools. Today, their value continues to increase and more benefits of trees are being discovered as their role expands to satisfy the needs created by our modern lifestyles.

The Scholars Forum in collaboration with Youth Parliament planted over 1000 trees on SDD University of Business and Integrated Development Studies campus to mark the GREEN GHANA DAY.

YOUTH PARLIAMENT is collaborating with the SCHOLARS FORUM to present the second edition of the Green Campus Project on Green Ghana Day to plant 1000 trees* on Friday, June 10th 2022.

FREE T-SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ATTENDEES‼️‼️

The Green Ghana initiative seeks to;

• Create national awareness of the necessity for collective action toward the restoration of degraded landscapes in the country.

• Inculcate in youth the value of planting and nurturing trees and their associated benefits.

• Mitigate watersheds.

• Enhance livelihoods towards communities through engagement in the production of tree seedlings.

• Beautify our communities and environment

The Scholars Forum was highly honored to be a media partner of the first edition of the NATIONAL MEDIA DIALOGUE WITH EXPERTS - NAMDEX'22 SUMMIT held @ the Tamale GNAT HALL on the 12th of march 2022 with the theme " the role of media practitioners and citizen journalists in the promotion of peace and security in an era of fake news".
The program was very educative and impactful as far as the subject matter of the "media" is concerned. There were detailed speeches from media experts and journalists including the renowned Manasseh Azure, DR A.B.T Zakaria, Mr Adib Sani, Hon Murtala Mohammed- MP for Tamale Central etc.
The People of Tamale graced the occasion with very fascinating and eye-catching cultural performances and Poetry.
THE SCHOLARS FORUM was fully recognized and given the maximum attention and of course we received a VIP treatment.
More importantly, we did not just go there as only THE SCHOLARS FORUM but we also represented our great institution - SDD UBIDS as it was also duly recognized.

We are very excited to have served as a media partner and be an integral part of this outstanding and unique Summit of it's kind.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of this very important and educative Summit most especially Mr Muftaw- CEO of AkwaabaGh.Com Enterprise and his entire team.
