The celebrations would start with a walk across the principal streets of Wa from the ministry area through Insurance road to Main Traffic light to the Municipal Hospital area then to the Jubilee park where the ceremony would be held.
Residents of Tagrayir in the Wa Municipality are in fear of a possible outbreak of cholera after the only refuse bin serving the community was taken away by Zoomlion Ghana,
The Assemblyman of the area Hon. Abdulai Jamal said all attempts to ascertain the reasons for the decision haven’t been successful.
He explained to your Discerning Radio that the driver and the supervisor of Zoomlion Ghana told him the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Isahaku Tahiru instructed them to relocate the container from the area.
All attempts to reach the MCE on the allegations haven't been fruitful.
The residents, mostly women complained about the development when they carried refuse to the place only to be left without a refuse bin.

Last Thursday 4th April, residents of Zendeli a suburb of Wa were left devasted after winds from rains destroyed several properties ranging into hundreds of thousands cedis.
Some victims who spoke to our reporter in the area said strong winds that followed the downpour on a faithful day collapsed some homes and rendered the owners helpless.
However, trees in the area were not sped by the wreath of the winds, causing them to fall and further causing more damage.
Electrical Poles have however not been left out as they fell onto the ground and have since left the place in darkness till now.
The repercussions of the debris of the rains are yet to be properly sanitized as water gushed several rubbish onto the roads in the area.
Some people couldn't sleep in their rooms again because part of their zinc was ripped off and the subsequent rains had caused much as they remained homeless.
Some have however moved to stay with their neighbors
Some community members have however started fixing their properties by raising fence walls repairing the damages on their homes and getting their environs sanitized.
However, some residents have been left devastated and calling for help as the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) in the region is yet to reach out to them.

Two babies have been reported dead as a result of a power outage at the Tema General Hospital in the Greater Accra Region. The babies are said to have died due to nonavailability of electricity at the hospital. The first died earlier yesterday evening while the second was recorded into the night. Checks have shown that the fellow that recorded the incident is being fished by the management as the administrator has since remained tight lipped towards the media. They however have disclosed they have a generator which served just a while after the power outage at the health facility.

Five individuals sustained critical injuries in a collision involving comedian and musician Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, popularly known as Funny Face. The incident took place when the musician reportedly collided with a mother and her two children, along with two other individuals riding a motorbike, at Nyanayano Kakraba Junction in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
