*Nigeria and Sierra Leone Forge Collaboration for Job Creation*

In a bid to bolster efforts towards job creation, Sierra Leone's *Minister of Employment, Labour, and Social Security, Mohamed Rahman Swaray,* concluded a productive series of discussions with key institutions in Abuja on Monday, February 19, 2024.

The purpose of Minister Swaray's visit is to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange with counterparts in Nigeria, particularly focusing on innovative job creation models. The discussions aimed to enhance the capacity of Swaray's strategic ministry in working to address the pressing challenges of job creation, aligning with Sierra Leone's ambitious presidential initiative to generate 500,000 jobs.

During his meeting with *Mr. Temitols Adekunle Johnson, MFR, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and MSMEs,* Minister Swaray commended Nigeria's steadfast support to Sierra Leone, particularly during challenging times. In turn, Mr. Johnson welcomed Minister Swaray's initiative to establish collaboration and exchange ideas, emphasizing Nigeria's commitment to creating sustainable employment opportunities despite global economic headwinds.

Mr. Johnson highlighted the Federal Government's Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme for Nano businesses across Nigeria's 774 local government areas, designed to foster self-reliance among entrepreneurs. He expressed eagerness for robust collaboration and idea-sharing to realize common aspirations in job creation.

In a separate engagement, Minister Swaray met with *Ife Adebayo, the National Coordinator of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises Programme (iDICE),* an initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in digital technology and creative industries to spur job growth. The Minister also pledged to explore further opportunities for partnership to contribute to *President Bio's commitment to creating 500,000 jobs for Sierra Leoneans.*

Seaking for relevance for your Survival, Young man Do it the right Way.

I saw a poorly written article by the so-called T LOVE, purporting, or parading himself on Social Media calling himself as Blogger 🤣

You really tried in your stupidity by Labeling the overwhelmingly Elected SLPP National Women's Leader Madam. Hawa Foray as the One Behind the Problem withing the SLPP Executive's in Kenema, funnily enough, at first, you said She Snubbed Kenema 🤣 what a Stupid way of stabbing yourself Cowardly.

How Can you Snubbed a District or Someone and Laber Bring in problems amongst them? BO U NOR TRY .

To start with T LOVE , you Don't even Know the political Journey or Struggled of Madam. Hawa Foray, the person feeding you with Lies and misinformation is not helping you young Boy, But damaging your Mini Reputation in the SLPP politics.

I can Still Help you Here T LOVE. Madam. Hawa Foray the National Women's Leader of the SLPP, her name Alone is an Assets to the SLPP in Kenema District, You know why I'm taking Kenema as a case study ? Because your kindergarten writes up was on Kenema, I will limit myself to kenema for now , the time will come for National politics.

Before She was asked by the People of South East and some respectable party members in the North, to Contest for the Position of the National Women's Leader of the Great SLPP , Madam. Hawa Foray had Already served as zonal Women's Leader for SLPP in Kenema for two Consecutive terms, because of her Selfless Help to the women in Kenema, she was asked by Women's Groups in Kenema to Contest for Constituency Women's Leader in the Biggest and most Populated area in Kenema, the Central part of Kenema Town, which was Constituency 20 by then, She accepted and Contested, she won with a Big margin, she did her two terms successfully, before even considering to go in for the National Women's Leader of the SLPP.

T LOVE, Madam. Hawa Foray is not just SLPP Women's Leader for Kenema, but SLPP National Women's Leader for Sierra Leone, ask yourself, T LOVE?

* is Madam HAWA FORAY an executive member of SLPP in Kenema?

* who voted for the SLPP Executive's in Kenema?

* why the SLPP Executive's in are not In Good working terms?

* why Kenema the District considered as the Backbone of SLPP Don't have a party office on it own?

T LOVE please Give us Answers to this, then we will Proceed with the Battle.

*Conference Room, Ministry of Energy,Freetown,Monday 22nd January,2024.........* Sierra Leone's Minister of Energy, Alhaji Dr. Kanja Sesay, has called on citizens to imbibe the patriotic culture of citizens' security by helping his Ministry and the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) secure or protect electricity facilities across the country.

Dr. Sesay was speaking at a press conference organized by the Ministry of Energy and EDSA to bring pressmen and by extension the country up to speed with the development in the energy sector.

It could be recalled that EDSA had in a press release dated 18th January,2024,reminded the general public that any form of electricity interference leading to the abstraction and non-payment of electricity bills is an offence pursuant to the provisions of the National Electricity Act,2011.

Dr. Sesay spoke about the many positive strides and reforms that were taking place in the sector but was quick to note that the gains had been threatened or undermined by a lot of challenges, including but not limited to huge arrears owed to EDSA by MDAs,other forms of technical and commercial losses, vandalization of electricity installations, and the unlawful abstraction of electricity.

"A combination of these factors is making it very difficult for EDSA to fulfill its financial obligations to power providers, and this will in turn have a rippling effect on the provision of electricity," he noted.

Director General at EDSA,Dr. Joe Lahai, spoke about customer service mechanisms that his institution had put in place to address concerns from the public and the efforts at regularizing the staff database of EDSA.

With the energy sector and the Feed Salone agenda being inextricably linked, reforms continue in the sector.
