The unfortunate event happened off-campus, according to reports. A student of PRESEC, Legon was kidnapped on March 28, 2024 while on his way from campus to Obuasi during vacation.

The kidnappers are demanding for 34million Naira (approximately Gh 340,000).

According to reports, the family has paid Gh 20,000 but the kidnappers have refused to release the boy unless extra 300,000 cedis is paid in full.

The family is pleading with the government and the Ghana Police to speed up the process of securing the boy and help bring their son home safely.

The vision of High Schools Society is to create a huge brand for quality educational networking and innovations through the establishment of a student community through which high school students can interact with each other on all areas of student life. It is also to create a platform for all students to be enriched with rich quality educational content. Many teenagers join clubs that revolve around their career interest.
