Had appointment about hip biopsy result, I have infection in hips and as the bone has grown around replacement they need to bring me in Brighton for 2 weeks to break right leg to get replacement out and put temp hip in, then month later do same with left leg and once infection has gone put permanent hips in so more fun lol

Today is Groundhog day

In weather lore, if a groundhog, also known as a woodchuck or marmot, emerges from its burrow on this day and fails to see its shadow because the weather is cloudy, winter will soon end.
If on the other hand, it is sunny and the groundhog sees its shadow, the groundhog will supposedly retreat into its burrow, and winter will continue for 6 more weeks.

The official Groundhog Day celebration takes place in Punxsutawney in Pennsylvania USA, where the groundhog Punxsutawney Phil has been making predictions for over 120 years, apparently.

It's National Fun at Work Day.

We're aware that there are tens of thousands of different jobs and work cultures, but there's always room for some cheerful teambuilding tasks. ✨
Or at least a half an hour trivia quiz with a tangible or intangible prize for the winner. 🙋 Having in mind that it's also Lego Day, the manager may organize a competition for building the best replica of the worker's own desk/cubicle with them inside it.
