We are a group of film makers who have worked together on many projects and have now come together to produce an independent sci-fi horror feature film about an underground cult trying to achieve immortality by experimenting on unsuspecting humans.
So proud to announce that 14 students of JQS Learning will be presenting their creative talents at this year's Brighton Rocks International Film Festival. Their projects will be placed within four categories exclusive to JQS Learning students which will celebrate their screenwriting and filming prowess! Brighton Rocks takes place in June between Tuesday 25 June and Sunday 30 June. More news to follow!
In 2024, JQS Films will embark upon a few film project titled 'The Tree That Fell'. The short film will comprise of poetry and issues which will make us all reflect. More details will follow early next year. Stay tuned!

I am pleased to say we have reached another milestone with Betrayed. Today Ewan Gorman and myself met with our colourist Darren Mostyn for the final look through of the edit before the colour grading was fixed. The colour grading is now complete. Now all is left is the titles and the dialogue audio track

Hey everyone! I am doing a Film and Creative Writing Study Group over on TeachAllAboutIT. The lessons will be over three sessions on alternative saturday mornings starting Saturday 30th March and the fee is £10 per session. The group will be aimed at film studies GCSE and A-Level Students but will also be enjoyable and beneficial to the casual learner. News Update: We are pleased to share an update with you all on ‘Betrayed’. Editor/Director Ewan Gorman has been busy working on an initial edit of the film and this has now been completed. It looks great. This has now been sent to our composer Andy Gillion to work on ideas for the soundtrack. We’re moving along nicely and we can’t wait to share more with you!

***NEWS UPDATE*** Today, Story Writer and Producer Jay Shurey met with Director and Editor Ewan Gorman to take a look at the first cut of 'Betrayed'. The cut shows great promise for the final version of the film. We are aiming to have the film completed by March and thereafter we will share details on venues where you will be able to go and watch the film.
