Want to delve deeper into the Legend of King Arthur? 👑

On Saturday 18 March, we're hosting an afternoon of talks on King Arthur and the Pre-Raphaelites.

Our own Sarah Waters will discuss some of the most impressive (certainly the largest) works in the exhibition, Burne-Jones and William Morris' Holy Grail Tapestries, in her talk titled Burne-Jones and the Holy Grail Tapestries: A Quest for Design.

Then, Steve Matthews of Bookcase Carlisle will explore Carlisle as the setting for more stories about King Arthur than any other city in his talk King Arthur Lives in Merrie Carlisle (based on his book of the same name).

We have been working to produce a book on the artist Christine Boyce, featuring her paintings, illustrations, textiles and amazing stained glass. She was so talented and it's been an absolute pleasure to be involved with this celebration of her work. Available very soon.

We have created this page as a way of selling the Seraphim Press range of greetings cards online. I will be posting images of the whole range over the next day or so.

Seraphim Press produces beautiful traditional cards featuring designs from Pre-Raphaelite art. We sell through art galleries, museums, churches and cathedrals throughout the UK. During a lockdown, all of these buildings or their gift shops are closed and we therefore have no real outlet for our product.
