Do you know what your client base looks like?

Yes, you know your customer’s names and where you drop off their orders to, but do you realise that they mainly fall into one demographic and how you can improve how you reach them on social media?

Want to expand your client base past your friends and family?
Not sure how to do it? Here’s some ideas on how to get new customers:
🛍️ Join buy and sell groups and post polls (use the Discussion tab to do this). Anyone that shows an interest message and invite them to your group.
🛍️ Join groups with people that have similar interests to you. Join in conversations, do posts about yourself and make new friends. Connect with people and message them and invite them to your group.
🛍️ Join groups in your local area. Ask if anyone would be interested in finding out about your products. Anyone that says yes friend request and invite them to your group.
These are just a couple of ideas to get you started. Just remember, the worst they can say is “no”.

For me the best part about running a group is getting the members to contribute to the content as well. There are lots of ways to get people to do this. Here’s a few ideas that have worked well in groups:
💡 Get your customers to write a review about their favourite product. Put the names of all the people into a hat at the end of the month and pick a name. Thank that person by either giving them their favourite product for free or a small gift you have purchased for them. By getting people to write reviews about the products they love it add value and might get other people to try the product themselves.
💡 Ask your current group members to invite people to your group. At the end of the month to thank your existing members that do this give them either a discount on their next order or a little thank you gift. Don’t forget to welcome all new group members.
💡 You say this “Bubble” until I say “Bath” – little games like this are great for getting interaction in your group but don’t leave them running too long as people will get put in Facebook jail if they comment too often on one post. You could give the winner a little gift. Shortly after the game has finished put out a sales post. In theory you’ve warmed your group up (the Facebook algorithm), so the next post you put out should get good interaction.
These are just a couple of ideas to get people to take part in your group. What top tips do you have?

The one thing people love more than supporting small businesses is getting mentions from them!
If you have a loyal customer base, let them know how much you appreciate them, mention your followers in your posts and stories! It’s a fantastic way of creating and cultivating a relationship between yourself and your followers… and if that just so happens to lead to an increase in customer loyalty that’s even better 😜

Not sure why your posts aren’t getting the amount of engagement you were hoping for? Here’s something worth thinking about: Social media marketing doesn’t just depend on what your post but WHEN you post it 💡
Are your audience early-risers? 🌅 Or are they after-work-shoppers? 🛍️
What time do your posts usually get the most engagement? 🤔

The aim of the game is to post when your audience are actually active on social media.

Keep all of this in mind next time you’re scheduling your Suggested Posts! Don't forget you can edit the time to suit your audience.

16/12/2021

Hate being bombarded with the same old messages on social media? So does everyone else! 💁‍♀️ That’s where the old saying ‘quality over quantity’ really becomes relevant, but it’s true!

When it comes to social media – especially social media marketing – it’s always a better idea to spend a little extra time perfecting two or three incredibly eye-catching and memorable posts rather than creating a dozen posts that are identical to everything else your audience will have seen already!

The great thing about Suggested Posts is that they are there to help with the every day content (and no one gets the same post at the same time so no need to worry) but the way to take your content to the next level is to personalise it. You could swap the image we've supplied with a photo of you using the product, or edit the text to make it sound like you wrote it.

Who wants to reach more people? 🙋‍♀️

When you go Live you have a better chance of reaching your audience because your video will show up in your follower’s news feed during and after your Live event. Interestingly Facebook users are four times more likely to watch a Live stream than a recorded video. As only 1% of companies use Facebook Live daily it’s a great way to stand out in a crowd.

When did you last go Live and what did you talk about?

14/12/2021

How often do you contact your clients and ask them if they want to place an order? 🤔

If the answer is never then you are missing out on sales. People lead busy lives and forget when they need to place an order. 🏃‍♀️
The easiest way to keep track is to build a customer list 📋 and keep a log each campaign if you have had any contact with them. If you haven’t received an order, send them a message 📱 to ask how they are and to remind them if they want to place an order. Plus having a customer list makes it easier to keep track of who you have spoken to and who you haven’t in any given period.

Pay attention to trends

Social media is a constantly changing landscape with trends that can rise and fall in weeks, or even days, and staying on top of and utilising these trends as part of a social media campaign in a new challenge for businesses attempting to use social media to market their products. Staying on top of and utilising these trends properly is key to the success of a business’s social media presence, after all, people use social media as a recreational activity and – for the most part- are only on there for there own enjoyment, and its for this reason that people are often reluctant to interact with adverts or business profiles.

As much as people like the products you sell, its uncommon that people LIKE receiving adverts, which is why indispersing advertising with engaging content is all the more important. Current trends in social media – if used correctly – are a fantastic way to do this. Part of the success of a business’s social media is the aspect of the humanisation that comes along with interacting with people on these platforms. Participating in the latest trends is an engaging and entertaining way of reminding users of the human aspect behind all of their favourite brands.

A word of warning when participating in trends on social media though, it's incredibly important to jump in with your business’s take on a certain trend (not matter what it may be) WHILST it is still trending. Nobody wants to see a business doing the mannequin challenge or showing their whipped coffee attempts such a long time after the trend has expired… 🤦‍♀️

Hashtags, obviously we’ve all heard of them. But do you ever stop to wonder why it is we’re using them and how important they are? Well, here’s a really quick break down all about hashtags 👇
✅ Reaching your target audience: Hashtags and the perfect social media tool to help both businesses and potential customers find and discover things online by making posts become searchable to anyone on the platform.
✅ Brand awareness: Hashtags have become an integral part of any business’s social media campaign and can end up being just as important to a business’s brand as a colour scheme or tone of voice. Creating a specific set of hashtags, including ones unique or specific to your business will help tie together all of your social media posts in a professional way.
✅ Click through rates: According to research it’s been noted that posts that include hashtags can receive twice the amount of engagement as posts that do not. Afterall, people are much more likely to interact with a post that is clearly tagged as something they are interested in, or they have searched for themselves.

And now you know! Hashtags are an easy but integral way of creating engaging and effective social media content for your direct selling business to draw in more potential customers.

More often than not if you are nurturing a Facebook group many of your customers will end up becoming friends with you on Facebook as well. This is great and you need to use it to your advantage. Post only positive things on your personal Facebook and share posts that welcome people into your life e.g. a picture of your Christmas tree 🎄, a family meal out 🍕, a new outfit 💃 or a hair do. 💇‍♀️
Most of these things you are probably already doing but, then when your customers put out posts make sure you interact with them and maybe even ask questions. For example if they posted a stunning picture they took on their dog walk ask them where it was taken. It’s a subtle reminder that you are there waiting to take their order.😜

Facebook Stories currently has an impressive 300 million daily active users which makes it a great place to advertise your business. The great thing about Stories is they are only active for 24 hours but you have the ability to not only see who has interacted with them, but also you get to see who decided to click on your Story and view it.

Stories are a great way to show what happens behind the scenes of your business. Is it delivery day? Show how many boxes arrived, or run a poll about which product range your customers want to find out more about or maybe even use a green screen and pretend to be on a sunny beach whilst running your business! 🏝️

Make sure to click on your Story to see who has interacted with it and drop them a message to thank them for checking it out and to ask if they'd like to find out more information. Don’t forget, the worst they can say is “no” so be brave. 😜

07/12/2021

Did you know that there are over 10 million groups on Facebook and most people are members of at least 5 of them?

We love groups because they are a private place (with no ads other than the ones you create 😜), where people that share an interest can spend their time. The benefit to you is that you can have a target audience where you have a place you can reach them. Did you know you can host Q&As, go live, run polls, check into places, tag events, ask for recommendations and loads more. 🤯
You can even make members experts in your group. Facebook groups are great places to nurture and support your customers, share content and actively ask for feedback.

How many people do you have in your group?

Attraction Marketing is the art of getting your customer to be attracted to purchase a product without telling them to buy it. You could think about it as giving people samples of a product or allowing them to try before they buy but through your life.
The way to do it is through creating great quality content that grabs the attention of your audience in such a way that they are unaware they have been attracted to your product until they make a buying decision.
Don’t forget that you are the hero of your business, your customers buy from you, not your direct selling organisation, therefore you need to ask yourself what can you do to make sure you stand out in a crowd.

😍 Add value 😍

When you already have customers, you’ll get a really good feel for what products they love to order. If most of their purchases are for weight management, offer recipe ideas or share fitness tips in your Facebook group. 💪🥤

If your customers are skincare fanatics learn all there is to know about the different products you have available and how they benefit the skin and which skin type they suit. Educate your clients with your knowledge and offer skincare consultations to discuss your client’s individual needs. ✨

By offering tips and advice for free your customers will trust your judgement and will come to you for advice as well as putting in repeat orders with you.

🤴 Content is king 🤴

Part of building successful relationships on social media is to post quality content regularly. Yes, our dashboards provide direct sellers with great content about products and posts to engage your audience but there are few things we can’t supply.

To add the icing to the cake 🍰 you need to top it up with your own content, but there are ways to maximise your time. If you go Live in your Facebook group 🎬 to do a demo, why not have a second device to go live on Instagram at the same time? You could even download the video afterwards and upload it to your YouTube channel as well! Same effort but you’re doubling (or even tripling) your exposure across multiple platforms.
What do you do to elevate your content?

03/12/2021

For network marketers, building relationships with customers is part of what keeps them coming back to repurchase from you time after time. 🛍️ Social media is a great way to keep your customers excited about your business. Using social media, it’s easier than ever to build excitement about the new products or special offers that you have available. Make yourself stand out compared to other people that sell the same products as you by offering a reliable service, create your own incentives and on top of that remember to add your personality into the mix of content. 💃
When your customers are passionate about your business, 😍they will tell their friends and family about your business, 📣 you could even reward them for posting reviews about their favourite products. 🎁 In the long run it’s cheaper to acquire new customers by building relationships with existing customers that recommend you time and time again. 🤝
What do you do to build relationships with your clients?

Before you start you need to understand where you are today.
Carry out your own social media audit to identify how you are currently performing. It doesn’t have to be too in-depth. Create a list of all your past posts for last month and then take note of how much engagement each post got making sure to include the post, which social network it was on, reactions, comments, and shares. From this you will then be able to see which posts your customers engaged with and which ones they didn’t.
This is your baseline and from here you can decide what is working well, what needs to be dropped and where can be improved. Also remember to note how many followers you have on each social network 📈 that way you can see how you’ve grown over time. By knowing what worked well 💃 and what bombed 💣 you can then produce content your audience want to engage with.
