Team Introtweet have had a wonderfully busy few weeks, with workshops, guest lectures & training sessions! Here's a slice of what we have been up to:
⭐ Pete was a guest Lecturer at University of Exeter for the undergrad BA Communications Challenges students! A big thank you to Dr Zizheng Yu for the invite! We're looking forward to returning in September.
⭐ We delivered a LinkedIn training session for Albert Goodman Young Professionals Networking Group. Thank you to Kerry Hake for inviting us to deliver the session.
⭐ It was great to return to Millfield Senior School for the third year running to discuss Social Media and the challenges of running a business! Thank you to Catherine Glover for the invite.

🌐 Meta has been tinkering with its algorithm (again), and here are the headlines.
- You need to engage to get engagement. Engage with other accounts to increase your level of engagement.
- The time of posting DOES matter. When is your audience online?
- Posts must be optimised to draw in comments.
🌐 LinkedIn Carousels are no more - consider using documents.
LinkedIn's trial of carousel posts has ended and this option will not be retained. Have you considered saving your photos as a document in order to replicate this effect?
🌐 The latest advice from Meta regarding Reels
Portrait video. 'Safe zones' for text to ensure your message is clear. Sound ON!
🌐 Personable content no longer an easy win on LinkedIn
LinkedIn's algorithm will no longer treat personable content as favourably as it has done previously, in particular content that is considered to be designed to "game the system".
🌐 Share your expert status more regularly.
This is particularly relevant on LinkedIn, but should not be ignored elsewhere. You are an expert in what you do, make sure your audience know it by providing non-promotional, valuable content.

Pete was delighted to recently pay a visit to the Wiltshire Cricket Limited team in Swindon to deliver a bespoke social media workshop. 🗣️ As an avid cricket fan he enjoyed detailing how the different features and platforms can help the team reach more targeted people and spread the word!
Having trained some of the team previously it was also a great chance to have a detailed look at what the team have been up to and refresh their knowledge! 🎓

The workshop brought together a combination of academics and students from the English & Creative Writing department, who wanted to learn to use Instagram in particular to engage with current and prospective students. 😍
Pete focused on all things Instagram including the making of fun and informative reels to gain high engagement levels. 💪🏻🎉

bibic, one of our Introtweet Charities of the year, delivers therapeutic programmes to children and young adults aged 6 months to 25 years. They support individuals with developmental and neurological difficulties to thrive and live happy and fulfilling lives. 💛
We actually visited bibic only last week for a sensory assessment with Emma, who you can see on the right in this video & we found her to be absolutely amazing - we left full of knowledge & ideas to implement.
