Helen has a big passion: Lifestyle!

Helen’s story starts when she relocated from Hertfordshire to Taunton, Somerset in 1999. The beautiful countryside, quaint coastal towns and long sandy beaches are simply stunning. Helen feels incredibly lucky to live in beautiful surroundings. Here is Helen’s story…

“I have always explored my surroundings; I know the South West very well. Not a day goes by that I don’t pinch myself with the lifestyle I have chosen. My background is soft skills training, software training and sales. I have travelled extensively in my career, in the U.K, Europe and the U.S. I have lived abroad in Boston, Massachusetts for 14 months, relocating for work.

My global travel has taught me about other cultures, I am enriched by the people I have met and the experiences I have had. Travel has inspired me to think positively, it has empowered me to make life decisions to better myself and it has driven me to where I am today.

I am very organised; I have lists for everything and I organise my wardrobe by clothing item and colour. I believe that an organised life is a happy life. As a child, I would rearrange my bedroom regularly, redesigning the space and arranging the furniture in the best configuration. I enjoy styling and colour matching a property as much today. I would say that my style is classy chic with an edge of country and coastal. I have learnt many DIY skills from volunteer work in Romania; I enjoy painting, gardening, decorating properties and renovating tired rooms and gardens.

Sometimes, it takes a big life event to wake up and smell the coffee; you are working too many hours with little downtime to enjoy being with your friends and family. I learnt this myself when in 2017, I turned 40 and after an inspiring trip to Macchu Pichu in Peru, I made changes in my life, to live the life I wanted. I stopped travelling for work, being away for many weeks or months of the year and living out of suitcases. I relocated back to the U.K to be with family and friends, at the end of 2018, from living in the U.S.

I’m using my life experiences to help others. I help people navigate away from their current situation to something more fulfilling, tranquil, exciting in the country or by the coast, while giving back the precious gift of time to do the things you’ve always wanted to do, with the people you love the most”
