RIP Charlie Elms, the young man killed on Fifth Ave, Hollinwood, this week. Two people, A man and a woman both in their 30s, have been released from custody after being arrested at the scene.
Please share to raise awareness about Knife crime and how it affects a community, a family and in this case a partner carrying an unborn son, Archie Charlie Elms, who will never know his father 😢 No need for it at all, total waste of a life.

| A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in

At around 8.50pm this evening (Tuesday 4 May 2021), police were called to reports of a concern for welfare of a woman on Hillside Avenue in Shaw, Oldham.

Emergency services attended and found a woman outside of a property with serious injuries.

She was taken to hospital, where despite the best work of medical staff, she was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

A 63-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.

| Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a wanted man from Oldham.

Lewis Chrisham (23/03/1989) of Ivy Green Drive, Springhead was released from prison in August 2020 and is wanted on recall to prison having breached the conditions of his license.

He is also wanted in connection with other offences including assault and criminal damage that occurred on Huddersfield Road, Oldham in March 2021.

Chrisham is known to have links to Oldham, Rochdale, Tameside and the City of Manchester areas of Greater Manchester.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lewis Chrisham should contact police on 0161 856 8237 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
