Our last walking route in collaboration with North East Derbyshire District Council is here, and it’s a personal favourite of mine! Together, we’re bringing you a scenic walk at Linacre Reservoirs. 🌳
This 4.7-kilometer circular walk is perfect for a short, refreshing escape, taking about 1.5 hours to complete. It features beautiful views across three interconnected reservoirs and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife.

Reflecting on that winter day, the fields were cold and empty, with bare trees outlined against a heavy sky.
The ground was wet and muddy from the recent rain, with puddles here and there mirroring the grey above.
It was the kind of winter scene that brings a sense of quiet and calm.
Walking through it, I recall the chill in the air and how the winter stillness seemed to wrap around everything, making time feel as if it had slowed down.

Be utterly captivated as he tells how this sweet and charming woman, who he was planning to marry, seemed to change before his very eyes, into a sly demonic creature during the courtroom trials. 🧙♀️🔮
You’ll find it extraordinary that this young man failed to support his sweetheart, believing the far-fetched story of Scotsman Mr. Monroe, who was not only behind with his rent but also enjoyed one too many drinks and was only stopping in Bakewell to break up his long journey to London.
