We’ve all made or received the occasional ’pocket call’, but taking pocket pictures is less common, in my experience anyway. This image was one of a selection I took unwittingly recently. I’ve tweaked it a little to enhance the image, but the form is as it was. Look at the layers. I checked my pocket after and it was empty…Enjoy! www.geomattric.com 😎

Continuing my thread with the Sumatran Tiger I had the pleasure of seeing up close recently. They are the rarest species of tiger, and now classified as ‘Critically Endangered’ and on the brink of extinction due to their natural habitat on the island of Sumatra being eroded by forest clearing for agriculture (particularly palm oil), settlements and illegal timber harvesting. My artwork here serves to highlight their decline and promote the need for continued action to save these beautiful creatures. www.geomattric.com

Morning all. I thought I’d share this picture I took yesterday. At first glance you may think ‘just another palm tree’; but if you look closely, you can see stars shining through the clouds. It was taken at 9:20pm and it was dark outside. No flash, no lights, just a clever phone on long exposure…Have a great day! Cheers. Matt 😎

We had a powerful storm here the other night over Noosa. Huge dark clouds with lightning striking in all directions, and thunder that went straight through you.
