My people just now I found this video on my browser and downloaded it.
I don't know if this is the video of the creator of this video or what he thinks it's the view of many men on how to find a good wife(wife material). Whatever the case may be, I have the following to write about this mentality and to advice both single men and women:
1) if I was a single lady and on coming into a supposed "ready to marry" man's house and it's in such a mess and his reason is being drunk the night before, I'll walk away from that man's life.
My reason is;
i) If he can get drunk and mess up everywhere, one day as my husband he can get drunk and get another woman pregnant, beat me up or even kill me and blame it on drunkenness.
It's already a red flag that he's not well trained to take care of himself and his idea of a wife is actually a house maid. You are in for slavery and to serve not marriage.
ii) A man who is bold enough to bring a visitor home in such an unkempt sitting room is actually dirty with impunity and believes it's the duty of the woman to do chores.
iii) A man who can't take care of himself, can't take care of you.
Finally on the side of women, know this; you are going into marriage to partner with a man that has a vision of where he's headed, knows how to get there, already on the journey but also knows that he needs a partner that he can teach, learn from, groom into understanding where he's going with all the patience needed for her to learn without insulting or humiliating her in the process.
2} For the single guys; almost every woman especially in Nigeria will pass this test, but 90% of those who passed are all faking it. The duty of a wife in the destiny of a man is way bigger than house keeping and cooking. This woman is the one person that has the greatest power over your future after God. She can make our break you. If she understands her powers very well, she makes you fall in love with her and deal with you like Delilah dealt with Samson.
