We are delighted to be back at Light Night Leeds with our new work, Sylvan Quiet.

Showing Thursday & Friday, 7.30pm – 10.30pm (repeats throughout the evening).

Thanks to all of the team at Light Night Leeds for inviting us back and to all of our collaborators for helping us make it happen.

Novak return to Light Night Leeds with this brand-new projection work inspired by and incorporating the Making A Stand sculpture created for Leeds 2023. Sylvan Quiet seamlessly blends nature and human creativity, inviting viewers on a sensory journey into the delicate essence of woodlands, capturing the forest’s serene beauty and the interplay of light and shadow.
In an era highlighting the fragility of ecosystems, this artwork goes beyond aesthetics and underscores the urgency of our responsibility. Novak’s creation prompts reflection on our connection to the natural world, urging the preservation of these enigmatic ecosystems.

Roman Britain in Colour at the Great North Museum

_______________________________________

Roman Britain in Colour is a permanent installation that we produced for the Great North Museum in Newcastle. For the project we projection mapped seven Roman alters revealing how colourful they were when made 1900 years ago, alongside animations that offer interpretations of the alters and the gods associated with them.

The installation is a collaboration between the Great North Museum and Hadrian’s Wall Community Archaeology Project (WallCAP), and NOVAK.
