What would happen if every autistic adult were seen and heard? 🌈

We would receive the validation and support that we need 🙋

Ashra is an autistic adult who advocates to show that autistic adults exist! She has a podcast and a support group for autistic adults ❤️

I asked her to tell me a short story that represents her and her life as an autistic, and this is what she said:

“Once upon a time there was a little girl who rocked back and forth, wiggled her hands, played with magnifying glass, and lined up her m&ms in a row. She grew up and the world broke her. But she was strong, she put together all her broken pieces and found herself again. Her beautiful autistic self.”

This is the AUTISTIC AUTHENTIC: We Follow No Pattern 🦋. A collection of true stories that autistic individuals are sharing about themselves during this month of April, known as the “Autism Awareness month”
