Looking for a new series to start off the year with? Then how about , a new six parter that arrived to Sky on New Years Day!

Romantic Getaway follows Allison and Deacon, a married couple who want nothing more than to have a baby but are unable to fund any more rounds of IVF. In their desperation, they decide to steal £50K from Alfie, their rotten no good boss - however, when Deacon adds an extra 0 to the transfer they find themselves on the run with half a million pounds.

Mission was delighted to assist in the creation of Romantic Getaway by having Alican Halaceli perform On Set DIT services.

We’ve been tagged by The Film and TV Charity to participate in Behind the Scenes Week and to to say well done to some of the in the Film and TV industry.

Instead of a particular individual, we’ve chosen to share a range of snaps of some of our wonderful DITs, Video Operators and Digital Lab Operators whilst hard at work!

Despite having many important duties, the work of DITs and Lab Operators can often go unnoticed. Their role is a vital bridge between Production and Post, and ensures the DOPs specific vision is maintained throughout the workflow.

Additionally, Video Operators work with several different departments by providing images to all their different monitors. They play such a vital role for the continuity of any production by supporting the Directors and other crew members.

We’d like to celebrate all the hard work and dedication our multi-skilled technicians give to their work today, and hopefully highlight the importance of their presence on set!

Today is the day, Willow has premiered and is available to watch on Disney+! Here's a short clip to get you started.

Mission was proud to support Willow on its shoot in Wales, and its DOPs Stjin Van Der Veken, Joel Devlin, James Friend, and Will Baldy, through DIT Jacob Robinson and Data Manager Jordan Wallace. We also supplied Video Playback to Main Unit through Mission Operator Lewis Williams.

Mission also supported the second units of Willow. These were started by DIT Quentin Brown, and then continued by lead DIT Nick Everett and Data Manager Lucy Keal, with a whole host of Mission technicians also stepping in to assist - Luke Williams, Alican Halacelli, Johnathan Boyd and Niall Todd. We can’t wait to start watching towards the end of the year! Have you watched the first two episodes yet?

Did everyone manage to catch The Power of The Doctor on Sunday? This epic blockbuster special saw the Doctor fight evil across the galaxy one last time...were you surprised by her regeneration?

Mission was proud to continue our work with Doctor Why by having technician Matt Williams provided On Set DIT Services to this special episode. We can't wait to see the next instalment!

Following its World Premiere at , historical feature Emily is being widely released in cinemas today!

This biopic of author Emily Brontë is sure to be a delight both with its visuals, from DOP Nanu Segal BSC, and its story which covers her irrepressible creativity and secret desires.

Mission deployed a Near Set Lab up to the Yorkshire Dales to be operated by Neil Gray throughout the filming of Emily, and we're grateful to have been a part of it!

How great it is to get a first look at upcoming series The Flatshare, based on the best-selling book by Beth O’Leary!

This series follows Tiffy and Leon, two Londoners in their mid-20s, who agree to share a one bed flat but never meet. With Tiffy working during the day and Leon at night, the two begin to bond and rely on each other through the Post it notes they begin to talk through.

Mission was happy to support the project and DOPs Laura Bellingham and Susie Salavati by having Conor Gilmour provide On Set DIT services and James Wiltshire as DIT trainee. We can't wait to see this on Paramount+ later on in the year!

We’re doing a little today to have a look at two stunning stills from Apple TV's Pachinko - even though it’s come to an end, we still love admiring the cinematography from DPs Florian Hoffmeister BSC and Ante Cheng!

Mission is proud to have assisted in the creation of Pachinko by setting up a Near Set Dailies lab in South Korea, run by Lead Lab Operator Alec Garner.

This weekend saw the start of Funny Woman, a new series on Sky. Based on Funny Girl, the best selling novel by Nick Hornby, this new six parter follows Barbara Parker. Set in the male dominated 1960s, she goes from Blackpool Beauty Queen to the world of sitcoms where she quickly becomes the nation's sweetheart.

Mission DIT Al Marshall performed On Set DIT duties on Funny Woman, assisting series DOP Matt Wicks. We hope everyone is enjoying it so far!

Mrs Harris Goes To Paris is released UK wide in cinemas today! Here's a collection of beautiful stills (and gowns!) from the film.

Based on the novel by Paul Gallico, Mrs Harris Goes To Paris tells the beloved story of a widowed window cleaner in the 1950s, Ada Harris, who falls in love with a beautiful couture Dior dress and decides she has to have one of her own.

Mission supported Mrs Harris Goes To Paris by providing access to our very own Online Dailies Review platform, Easel.

New feature film ‘The Almond And The Seahorse’ is having its premiere screenings this week at the Zurich International Film Festival 2022, and it’s great to get a first look at the project with this new still.

Based on a stage play of the same name, The Almond and The Seahorse follows Gwen and Joe, both struggling after suffering traumatic brain injuries, and their respective partners Toni and Sarah, who now have to fight for them to get the best chance at recovery.

Mission was delighted to assist DOP Tom Stern, ASC, AFC, on this project by having Al Marshall perform On Set DIT duties. We wish The Almond And The Seahorse all the best in Zurich and we can't wait to see it upon its release on December 16th!

🚨 First Look Friday Alert! 🚨

Here’s the first released image from the upcoming spy thriller, A Spy Among Friends. This series is a dramatic retelling of the true story of Nicholas Elliot and Kim Philly, who were two British Spies and lifelong friends. It is based on the book of the same name by Ben Macintyre.

We were delighted to assist this production and DOP Nanu Segal BSC () by having Mission Technician Philipp Morozov fulfil On Set DIT Duties. We can’t wait to see more!
