Full-screen, vertical ads on Snapchat drove more than 2x the level of brand awareness, compared to other platforms. 👀
They also discovered that:

🔎 15-second ads worked best for brand recall
🔎 Users are 3x more likely to use AR try-on products than non-Snapchatters
🔎 Users are 1.2x more likely to buy from brands they share values with & support
🔎 50% of users will research a brand’s backstory before they shop

Introducing... Live Rooms!
Breaking 🗞! Today Instagram announced Live Rooms, a new feature that lets you go Live with up to 3 people at once.
Instagram says: “We hope that doubling up on Live will open up more creative opportunities - start a talk show, host a jam session or co-create with other artists, host more engaging Q&As or tutorials with your following, or just hang out with more of your friends. Live Rooms also gives creators even more ways to build a business and earn money.”
📲 How it works:
🔘 To start a Live Room, swipe left and pick the Live camera option
🔘 Add a title and tap the Rooms icon to add your guests
🔘 You’ll see people who have requested to go live with you, and you can also search for a guest to add
📝 What you need to know:
🔘 When you start a Live Room, you’ll remain at the top of the screen when you add guests
🔘 As a broadcaster, you can add up to three guests at once or add guests one by one (for example, you could start with two guests, and add a surprise guest as the third participant later!)
🔘 Going live with multiple guests is a great way to increase your reach, as all your guests’ followers will be notified
Live Rooms will soon be available globally for everyone on Instagram. 🌍
Social media is a two-way conversation… not a one-way broadcast.
Wondering how you can make meaningful connections on social media? It's all about interacting with users, or what we like to call "community management". 🤳
So what is community management? 🧐
Essentially, it's exactly what it sounds like.
It includes any form of interaction from liking posts, responding to comments, sharing valuable content and answering questions with the aim of fulfilling the needs of your audience.📱
Engaging with not only your current followers, but also your target audience is essential.
Here's why it matters. 👇
🗣 Establishes you as a relevant brand
🗣 Increases credibility
🗣 Humanises your brand
🗣 Builds reputation through thought leadership
Above all, it will enable you to create relationships.
Rule of thumb: Give the same level of engagement that you expect. 👍
#socialmedia #engagement
Be stubborn about your goals but flexible about your methods. 🎯
Here are 5 steps on building a social media strategy:
👉 Goal setting: Why are we doing this?
👉 Channel: Why are we using Instagram/TikTok/LinkedIn?
👉 Content: What are we saying?
👉 Community building: Who’s listening to us?
👉 Measurement: How do we know it’s working?
Do you have a social strategy in place?

⏭️ Visuals are processed 60,000 faster by our brains than a paragraph of text.

👂 Listen to what your community are asking for
🤩 Use strong visuals
❤️ Create content that makes your audience FEEL something
⏰ Focus on stopping the scroll and “dwell time”
