🇬🇧 Silverstone Festival - UK: Live from the home of British motorsport 🏎️ 🏁, Aurora delivered stunning coverage of the world’s largest classic car racing festival. Spanning a century of motorsport history, we provided the live broadcast throughout the three day event, complemented by over 20 hours of livestreams across YouTube and Facebook, plus 600+ clips created for social media.

🏅The Aurora team was in Boston this weekend for the start of the 2024 Supertri League season, with Olympic rivalries reignited on a global stage.

It was a stunning performance by , fresh off his Olympic gold, who edged out in another incredible sprint finish to claim victory in the men’s race for .racing. In the women’s race, clinched first place, using a tactical ‘short-chute’ to gain the winning edge.

The dynamic SuperTri format keeps fans on the edge of their seats, as athletes battle through three continuous swim-bike-run circuits. Any competitor who falls 90 seconds behind the leader is eliminated—adding to the intense excitment.

As the host broadcast production partner, our talented team working on the ground in Boston, and remotely in the UK, captured the action live for fans, broadcast across 45+ countries.

We are delighted to announce the continued expansion of Aurora in the Middle East, supported by the opening of a new Riyadh office, alongside plans for a production hub in Abu Dhabi.

This strategic move underscores our commitment to delivering pioneering, high-end content across live, original, branded, and digital formats, aligning with the region’s ambitions for growth in sports, entertainment, and major events.

The new production bases will be led by James Pearce in the newly created position of Managing Director, MENA. James has been instrumental in driving Aurora’s expansion into the region over the past few years, leading a host of original, branded, live and digital content projects.

🥇We’re very happy to share the new original series, “Last Chance to Paris”.

🤸🏿🧗🛹🚲The eight-part series, produced by Aurora, provides an exclusive, all-access look at athletes vying for a coveted spot in the Paris 2024 Olympics in the exciting urban sports of Breaking, Sport Climbing, Skateboarding and BMX Freestyle.

The inaugural Olympic Qualifier Series took place over two festival-style events in Shanghai and Budapest in May and June 2024, setting the stage for athletes to secure their qualification for Paris 2024.

“Last Chance to Paris” presents these events through the eyes of the athletes themselves, featuring 32 elite competitors as they navigate the high-stakes environment of Olympic qualification.

The series is now released in full to watch for free on Olympics.com and on the official Olympic apps for mobile and connected TV devices.

⛵ made their penultimate stop of Season 4’s calendar in New York this weekend, with a 10-strong fleet going head-to-head against the backdrop of the world’s most iconic skyline. 🗽

🌐 Our team remotely produces the highlights programmes for Spanish, French, ITV, CBS and international feeds, and the live Spanish feed.

After some seriously fast racing, came away with their fifth win of the season, having battled it out with and , to claim the leaderboard top spot.

🇮🇹Venice, ‘The Floating City’—what better setting for the second race of the UIM World Championship this weekend.

🏆’s team finished on top, sealing a back-to-back victory. Their famous owner, who is used to winning, was there to celebrate with . came in second, skilfully driven by some familiar faces to the world of electric motorsports – and .

Hollywood royalty Will Smith launched his team for their championship debut, with drivers and taking the third-place podium position in their inaugural race. And big moves up the table also for Didier Drogba’s after a strong showing.

As Broadcast Production Partner, Aurora produced live and highlights content aired in over 100 countries worldwide, via over 40 broadcaster channels.

The Championship next takes to the water in the Spanish town of Puerto Banus, Marbella on the 2nd June.

🇧🇷 Thrilling action from Round 4 played out on the streets of Sao Paulo this weekend.

🏆 Huge congratulations to Brit who after a spectacular move on the last lap, claimed his first win since New York in 2021 and team first win since joining the championship.

Jaguar’s and ’s , another British driver, joined Bird on the podium in second and third place.

⚡️Vegas provided a neon-lit backdrop for the season finale this weekend.

battled and to take the Championship title after thrilling wheel-to-wheel racing.

What a season this has been, and Vegas delivered the electrifying climax it promised to with a custom-built track in the heart of the city.

⛵️ was in action this weekend, against the iconic backdrop of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Tom Slingsby’s triumphed on home water in a dramatic final, to secure its first win of Season 4. They’re now eight points ahead of New Zealand on the leaderboard.

🏜️ What an epic weekend of racing with as Season 4 kicked off in the endless dunes of Jeddah, KSA. 🇸🇦

🦂 A Desert X-Prix in the dunes never disappoints - a remote course, with deep sand, soaring temperatures, dusty winds and unwelcome scorpions seeking shade in parts of the compound where we really didn’t want to find them! It truly tested teams and delivered plenty of wheel-to-wheel racing.

🏆From some of the closest fought races in the history of the Series, the defending champions secured a dramatic victory in Round 1. On Sunday, after narrowly missing out on the title last season, took the podium top spot in Round 2.

New team .motorclub got a very warm welcome to the paddock as legend and newcomer got the bit between their teeth.

Great as always to have the dream team .gow and in the commentary box back in London, alongside presenting from the paddock.

🐎🏜A record-breaking weekend in AlUla for the 2024 edition of The Fursan Cup. This unique event tests both horse and rider against the elements of an ancient desert landscape.

A world-class field boasting 260 jockeys, 26% as female riders, from 51 countries around the world set a new record for participation in a endurance competition.

Welfare is paramount in these events; the horses are carefully monitored by expert veterinary units and cared for throughout by their riders and groom teams for any signs of exhaustion.

🎖 Set over two days this year, on Saturday the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup covered 120km over 4 loops. On Sunday we covered the Road to the 2026 FEI World Endurance Championships, which will also be hosted in AlUla. This gruelling event covers a distance of 160 km, over 6 loops.

📽 Covering an overall footprint of approximately 200 square kilometres the programme was distributed globally. Aurora produced English, Arabic and International world feeds, a 1hr highlights programme, plus worldwide livestreams on YouTube, Shahid and Yamaha.

It was a monumental effort from all of our team - very early starts, 10-12hrs live on air, in remote, harsh conditions, so a huge thank you to them and our brilliant partners.

✨ An astonishing weekend with a triple lineup of events, including two global launches for brand new series – it’s a landmark moment. ✨

🌏Padel’s biggest new championship launched in Madrid, took to the water for the first time in Jeddah and took to the track in Calgary.

🎾 We produced five days of incredible action from the inaugural Hexagon Cup, live from the Madrid Arena. Distributed via thirty broadcasters worldwide and livestreamed on YouTube, with brand-new graphics and data packages. Andy Murray’s padel team .padel.team claimed victory in both the men’s and women’s finals for a double win.

🚤 Another broadcast first - the E1 Series Championship Series foiled across the Red Sea bringing speed and grace to their inaugural races. After years of detailed planning, it was a privilege to be the host broadcaster for this unique event. Congratulations to , owned by NFL megastar Tom Brady, who took away the first trophy of the championship.

🚀 And we were back covering ‘Cars that Fly and Tracks that Thrill’ with our partner for a weekend of adrenaline. These guys know how to ‘send it’ and even though this event wasn’t about points for the championship, the passion from the teams, drivers and fans was palpable.

🌐 To successfully deliver these three ground-breaking productions involved an intricate web of remote production, AR and VR technology, data packages, new graphics suites and of course our highly skilled and dedicated team on the ground doing what they do best.

Arguably our busiest week in the history of Aurora as we deliver four events simultaneously, from three continents 🌍 - two are brand new series, never broadcast before.

Our teams will be fully engaged in delivering a wide range of content across multiple platforms, working on location and remotely from UK technical hubs.

🚴🏽 The AlUla Tour, set against stunning backdrops, heads into its final day. The team has been producing fast-turn-around digital content of this elite cycle race for the channels.
🚤 Also in KSA, the launch of the gets underway in Jeddah, with twelve teams racing on the city’s waterfront, powered solely by electricity.
🚀 is back in Calgary for Round 8 – two days of guaranteed drama and adrenaline.
🎾 And the inaugural is underway in Madrid, with five days of matches featuring the world’s best padel players.

This is a hugely inspiring line-up and what we love to do - delivering the highest quality content output across a suite of premium global events.

🏁 Season 10 got off to a thrilling start this weekend in front of a sell-out crowd, in Mexico City. 🇲🇽

took the podium top spot in Race 1, for the third year in a row, for Team .

⚡️There was a special visitor with a taste for speed ahead of the race, as took to the track on Friday in the revolutionary Formula E GENBETA electric race car.

Shown live across the weekend on TNT Sports and discovery+, highlights can also be seen on the Formula E website and YouTube channel.

Over in Abu Dhabi, Season 4 of continued. Our remote cloud-based production solution enables the team to produce live and highlights programmes for Spanish, French, ITV, CBS and International feeds.

With light winds, it wasn’t all plain sailing for the teams, with a dramatic start to race 4 and penalties handed out. battled to cross the line first to take the win in a gripping final.

🇨🇱 The 2023 season came to an extraordinary close at the weekend in Chile, for the Antofagasta Minerals Copper X-Prix. The Atacama desert, the driest place on earth, provided some challenging conditions as the team battled with altitude, temperature extremes and testing dust devils.

🏆 A rollercoaster few days of action and drama for Rounds 9 & 10; became double champions - taking the podium top-spot on day one. With a change of tempo on Sunday, a puncture and plenty of tension, Rosberg X Racing limped over the line with some car damage to take the win again and be crowned champions for the 2nd time.

It’s been another epic season with , from Scotland to Chile, the whole ecosystem pulls together at each remote location to create a truly pioneering and groundbreaking championship. With just a core team on site, we’re supported by our trusted partners and remotely.
