VP of Creative Sync at Sony Production Music, Sarah Patching discusses her love of all things Lady Gaga! Her songwriting, her empowerment, her inclusivity. Starting out doing work-experience and interning at Roadrunner Records, Sarah knew she had to work in music and applied to everything relevant, until she landed her first job at an independent production music company and has since climbed the ranks at Extreme Music / KPM. Speaking to her younger self she is glad to have had as much varied experience as possible and says “ask lots of questions! Don’t be afraid to ask for advice and aim high!”

European A&R Manager Nasra Artan started out in the music industry as a DJ and radio host in Norway. From there, she got a job as an A&R and project manager at Warner Music Norway, and finally to where she is now as European A&R here at SMP in London. If Nasra could tell her younger self anything it would be “to not stress as much as I used to. Let go and Let God. What’s meant for you is meant for you.” Here Nasra talks through her musical inspirations and why Ms. Lauryn Hill’s songs, words and power have had such a profound impact on her. #WHM #WomensHistoryMonth
