Congrats to our Music Supervisors .re.lee and for being invited to teach at the Royal College Of Music yesterday! 👏
They held a "Working with Music Supervisors" class as part of the College's Composition Masters course. The aspiring composers were also given a task that mimics a real life composition job on an advert. Good luck to them all, looking forward to hearing the submissions! 🎼

Throwback to the Bubblophone!

Soho Music composed this big band jazz track for one of Aero’s most exciting campaigns to date 🎺

The ‘Bubblaphone’ contraception was built by its agency JWT to represent how bubbles are formed in the chocolate bar.

The Bubblophone is, essentially, a gramophone plugged into a pool of delicious melted chocolate.

J Walter Thompson, chose to physically build the Bubblephone invention rather than create the effects in post. The final machine comprised 10 precisely timed mechanical actions and 177 sequenced valves.

Soho Music teamed feel-good 70s soul track ‘Ooh Child’ with Brit-award nominated & producers to create a brand new and exclusive cover for O2 along with on backing vocals.

“This Girl Can” aims to inspire more women and girls to take part in sport and and shows the raw unfiltered reality of women exercising in whatever way that works for them.

We soundtracked this film to Little Simz wickedly assured “Offence” track taken from her incredible Grey Area album.

This film is an audio-visual installation of the flavours released while cooking set to a bespoke score with a pyrotechnics team to sync each herb and spice explosion to the musical notes 💥 🎼

We're super proud of our incredible Brand Partnerships team at Soho Music who have planned, art directed and produced a series of out-of-home activations as part of Magnum Condoms launch across the UK.

Traditional medium - such as 48 sheet and B2 panels - as well as more innovative and festival-focused forms of OOH, including fly-posting and projections were all part of the cross-country campaign. Swipe right 👉

Soho Brand Partnerships aimed to position the brand at the forefront of both the advertising space and the UK music scene, demonstrating that even the most daring forms of advertisement can be achieved.

It’s since been covered and sampled and remains to be one of the ultimate feel good disco classics of all time 🕺
