One of the great sixties photos recovered from old Kodak slides for Ginger Baker’s picture book ‘A drummers tale’. Full colour picture book showing unseen lyric sheets, sixties memorabilia and iconic unseen photographs - Book designed by Friedbanana and extra photography by Marcos Bevilacqua. “Voodoo feline 239 of fictional story about the woman who gets stuck in a lift and when she has finally rescued you find herself on the floor 239 where she is greeted by an alien cat of 'voodoo' nature. The cat was conjured up in a voodoo ritual on the floor 239. Taken from the forthcoming album 'Peculiar Female Thing' this track features Christine Sugary from the specials alongside the legendary Maggie Dunne from Fuzzbox on co lead vocals. The album was shot with Friedbanana Productions in a disused van just shy of Saddleworth Moor.” Mike Bennett (Producer)

Taken from The forthcoming concept album which also features Gizz Butt from The Prodigy, Jay Stapley from Suede and Mike Bennett from the Blockheads who co-produced the record with Gary Watts.

“I wanted to make the video flow with the dramatic drum and bass beats of the track ‘Voodoo Feline 239’ so I worked in dramatic dance footage to the video, adding to the ‘luring in’ of the voodoo feline hypnotic trance feel of the music. The use of warm / glowing filters adds to the mystique of the entrancing feline women as they ‘prey’ on your very soul (what you think about that?). Footage and choreography of the gold glitter painted dancer and bohemian belly dancers shot by Pexel artists KoolShooters, Mikhail-Nilov and Thirdman.”
