The days leading up to a shoot day can understandably be stressful–but they don't have to be!

In order to streamline filming day, it can be helpful to do a a quick meeting a few days in advance. This gets everyone in the frame of mind and familiar with the location without the pressure of filming. We can run through the script and work out where we will be setting up each interview as well as create a list of cutaway clips that we would like to capture. This drastically improves efficiency for the day of filming and is a great way to calm nerves!

A couple years ago, we shot, edited, and finalized an amazing video for Subly. Subly wanted a video that would hook potential investors that could also sit alongside their in-house content. We were faced with the challenge of creating a video that would stand out from the crowd, while staying true to their brand storytelling.

By creating a quirky, charming video, we were able to align with the unique brand personality, but still clearly demonstrate the USPs and solutions Subly offers. Focusing on the distinct business advantages of the services, but packaging them in a funny, approachable promotional video, allows business minded investors to engage, without alienating a casual social media audience.

While testimonials are typically short, personal endorsements that provide a quick, positive review, case studies offer a detailed, structured analysis of a specific project, including background, objectives, strategies, and results. While testimonials are designed to build immediate trust with concise feedback, case studies aim to provide in-depth proof of efficacy through a comprehensive narrative.

A sales proposal is a document created to pitch a company's products or services to prospective clients. While not explicitly in a marketer's job description, it is worth knowing how to execute a strong sales proposal to best support your sales team. In general, in your sales proposal you should:

✅ Introduce your product or service, its key benefits, and why the client should be interested.

✅ Break down the next steps for your reader. Walk them through the purchasing process all the way to implementing the product/service.

✅ Include an accessible pricing section to give your client an idea of what to expect.

✅ Make your argument as easy to follow as possible by using design elements like section headings to structure your document. Also, consider breaking up large chunks of text with photos or videos.
