Blending is out everywhere on . What a blessing to know these boys. Working with High Vis since their inception has been a huge privilege, and seeing their progression has been nothing short of inspiring. The Stone Roses made a hardcore record. We’ve been a bit quite on instagram but behind the scenes the studio has been serious busy. So many good projects have come through our doors the last few months, notably Chrome Hoof, Factory Floor and many other. Some absolute bangers lined up for the rest of the year too! Just finished recording and mixing Alexander Tucker’s new album! I’ve been a fan of Alex’s music for over 10 years and it was a huge honour to be able to work on this project with him. Expect trance inducing, swords and sorcery epics with strong Lovecraftian undertones. It’s also the first album to be entirely mixed on the new API desk 🌈⚔️🐍🧙‍♂️

Best friends in the world have announced their new album Ecstatic Arrow on Fire Records. It’s my favourite record I’ve ever worked on and was written and recorded in my parents house in rural Switzerland. The experience was unique and wonderful and is the best time I have ever spent working with friends. I hope you enjoy this first single as much as I do. The album was recorded and mixed by me and mastered by Dave Cooley in LA.

Been hunkered down this week working on lots of future developments for the studio. In the next few months Holy Mountain is going to take a pretty big step forward with the help of the amazing Bibliotheque. The studio has been open three years now and I am finally happy with what it has to offer. With confidence comes a desire to expand and reach new people and this is what 2018 is going to be about. Alongside some of the most exciting projects yet, 2018 will hopefully be a milestone year for the studio and I hope you all will be able to visit and work within a space that I now feel truly delivers on its promises. I don't update Facebook as much as I do Instagram, but don't let that fool you into thinking things have been quiet around here. 2017 has been the busiest year I've ever had, and to top it off, an album that I've worked on for the last two years has finally seen the light of day on one of my favourite labels. It was an absolute privilege to have Spiritualized in the studio last week. Recording an amazing 4 part choir, some of the most talented musicians I have ever worked with, was a career high so far, and an amazing learning experience.
This year is booking up incredibly fast and I cannot be thankful enough for all the support. This Friday we start a new A Grave With No Name album, and after that it's kinda LP after LP until this summer! Very exciting times.

Been pretty quite on this page (much more happening on the Holy Mountain instagram account) but that doesn't mean things haven't been flat out at the studio. Albums, EPs and singles have been recorded this Autumn and early winter, many of which won't see the light of day till next year. A few weeks ago I recorded a couple of tracks with Pet Portrait that have just dropped though. We went for a very crunchy analog vibe with these. Pumping drums and pushed vocals all the way. Very happy with how these have turned out!

To say this album is wonderful and unique is an understatement. I worked for about 6 weeks with Virginia Wing, writing, recording and mixing their new album FORWARD CONSTANT MOTION and I honestly dont think I have been ever as proud to be part of a musical project.
