As part of our 120th birthday celebrations, we are looking to discover and welcome bright new talent through our doors. We’re hoping that this Prize, which does not require entrants to have written a novel, but only to have started one – will offer talented writers the financial security and creative writing tools to help develop their work further.

We’re thrilled to announce that Tracy Chevalier, bestselling author of GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING and the upcoming A SINGLE THREAD, will chair our judging panel.

The Prize is open to un-agented novels, both finished and unfinished, across all genres of adult fiction. Open to residents of UK & Ireland.

The closing date is 1st August 2019, and the winner will be revealed on 10th October.
