‘Celebrate all that is fantastical and experimental in the wonderful world of ELECTRONIC music’.
Special guests include Mercury Prize nominee’s and electronic film composers #HannahPeel and #AdrianUtley of #Portishead, also experimental artist and honorary professor #Scanner, Matt Culpin of electronic band #NorthernKind, Richard Orr of the #NaturalHistoryMuseum, Industrial audio campaigners #TestDept, the iconic musician, podcaster and #BEF founder #MartynWare, DJ’s #GraffitiPig and #Michailo all the way from Georgia, Sheffield band #EccentronicResearchCouncil, Audio architect #BenMinto [#EADICE/#SweetJustice], and last but not least Tom Carpenter, founder and inventor of the extraordinary analogue synth manufacturing brand, ‘#AnalogueSolutions’.
The best way to explain the art and content available in EE, is to first reimagine electronic technology as an optical 3D dream sequence, in a kind of spatial perpetuity referred to as abstract futurism [and arguably an aesthetic more akin to science fiction than electronic music – as conceptualised in ‘The Manifesto of Futurist Architecture’ circa 1914]. We also asked each artist to answer 3 quick-fire questions.
‘As a massive fan of electronic music, I can only hope EE comes across to the readership as a synthetic mechanism as is intended, and much more than an art magazine, interconnected to experimental music, graphically remixed for the abstract minded, designed to thrust the reader on a vast journey across an infinitive LOW-FREQUENCY universe’.
‘Enjoy the journey’.
