tomorrow night, if you love the new wave/new romantic era, you get to relive it in it’s purest form. The Mirror Moves team take over St Cecilia's Social Club playing all your classics from arguably the biggest pop culture movement of the 70’s & 80’s. From the soundtrack down to the venue, this one will be true nostalgia, and all for two incredible causes.
All funds raised from this event will be split between two charities; Paul’s Place and Bliss.
Paul’s Place, a su***de bereavement support programme, ran by Beacon Counselling Trust. We don’t need to state how important this support system is for people who need it, but they need support to be able to continue this service.

April Moon are a Canadian, alt-country duo from the Saskatchewan prairies that use an old-suitcase kick drum, 2 intertwined guitars and big vocal harmonies to bring their boot-stompin' tunes to life onstage. They'll be joined by Becky Gilman on fiddle for a few songs and have also invited the talented Kirzy to perform his collection of summer-vibe songs with his unique guitar style and smooth vocals. APRIL MOON and Kirzy collaborated on a song called 'Happy Place' earlier this year while down in the Canary Islands.

Ed Poole Music - With brooding acoustic guitar lines and soaring vocals, Ed Poole weaves emo, punk rock and folk with dark, atmospheric tones, all together delivered with a passionate and powerful live performance.

Skindred are infamous for their live shows, and there’s many reasons why they deserve that attribute and continue to prove it. Explosive nu-metal combined with heady reggae is their style and they’re damn good at it. Formed in 2002, their extensive 22 year career of metal genre jumping has led them to some of the biggest stages available to the alt community, and even further afield by guesting on Jools Holland in Oct ’23. Before their latest offering ‘’Smile’’, the band had already been there, done that, with some huge support slots on the biggest stages and festivals, but the debut of their 8th album, brought chart topping positions across the board, even winning a MOBO Awards
Skindred make their return to Liverpool, 25th October at one of our favourite venues, Liverpool Olympia. To understand why they’ve won countless best live act awards, you need to witness it in person (youtubing ‘’newport helicopter’’ will give you a good idea though..) After following them for 12 years+, and seeing them live plenty of times before, we can’t wait for this one.

12 years ago, we had these bunch of lads from north wales play lomax, and they were really good, proper nice people too.

tonight they return to Liverpool to headline a sold out Sefton Park, before co-headlining Reading & Leeds Festivals.
