We had a great session with another of Songwriting Challenge winners this week,

I really enjoy revisiting these songs after the competition, and getting to understand the backgrounds and songwriting process involved with each artist. This one was no exception!

This week we finally got hold of a pair of mics you’ve been hearing your whole life, the Coles 4038.

Designed by the BBC in the 60’s, and still in production today, these workhorse ribbon mics are a staple of studios around the world. Drummers and brass players, get excited 😆
