Things have been a little quiet on the show front admittedly and at the moment there are no plans in place to bring How Very Interesting back to the airwaves.
However, in the meantime, I have recently started a YouTube channel called Micro Weird which will tell similar stories to HVI but from around the world.
If you'd like to check out the new channel and the first full video, please do head over to YouTube and let me know what you think.

On the way home from the studio today I decided to swing by the Ancient Chapel Of Toxteth as recommended by a listener. What a wonderful old building and so much history. It's a shame about the poor old cinema rotting away across the road though.
I may make a return trip and, who knows, maybe include the chapel in a future show. Thanks for the recommendation Graham!
Any other buildings or places I should consider visiting?

This poor bu**er would have been a handy addition to December's episode. It's bad enough that it's dead let alone having its aromatic body odour made front page news!

It's day 20 of the Very Interesting advent calendar and I bet your kids are going berserk with excitement! Well chill them out with whatever is behind today's door, which is... the Impossible Murder of Anfield.... OK, maybe don't play this one for the kids. Try the Santa Claus movie instead.

I'm sharing this petition as it represents a wonderful opportunity for the future not only of Liverpool Community Radio but also those who enjoy the services offered by the Croissant Cafe and the potentially restored services including Onya Bike (a bicycle recycle and refurbishment programme that teaches skills and raises money for the continuation of community activities).
I see the radio as a lifeline. A sense of purpose that I otherwise wouldn't have and a feeling of belonging to an important and valuable organisation. This elevates me personally and it is a joy to see the similar effect it has on other members of the community.
New premises and a long term commitment from Liverpool council would be an incalculable boost for current and future visitors to Kensington and to the new facility.
Please sign and share. This is a real chance for a lot of people who just want to do good for their community and feel just as good doing it.

Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

Day 13 of the Very Interesting advent calendar and it's a crime scene! How festive!
This is the site of the unsolved murder of Alice Barton in 1955. A terrible crime by any standard made all the worse by the wounds inflicted and her discovery by a 14 year old boy. So, y'know, Merry Christmas?!
