You don't have to make a programme yourself. But our staff will support anyone who wants to learn to present, interview, edit, record, produce, DJ, give technical back-up, at whateve

r level you are at, from absolute beginners onwards. Whether you have half-an-hour or several days a week to spare, contact us

What will I hear? Radio Shows
A mixture of music, drama, documentary, talk, interviews, discussion, argument, faith, news, events, quizzes, opinion, solutions, cookery, gardening, stories, sport, poetry, chat about the issues that concern and the ideas that inspire people of all ages and backgrounds in our neighbourhoods. Some programmes will be more interesting to one group of people than others. Not everyone likes Hip-Hop, wants to grow flowers, or enjoys football. But there'll be no po*******hy, no s*xism or racism or anything that discriminates against a group of people due to their age, s*x, background, disability, size or religion. Pod Casting

Our podcasts are collaborations with organisations in the field of the subject manner. Our aim in podcasting is to give the voiceless a voice by training each organisation who are involved the skills to run and create their own on line streaming of podcasting. (Please note West Yorkshire Media web site is currently under construction.) We want the website to add to your enjoyment of all we do in West Yorkshire Media and South Leeds Radio. There'll be pictures of everyone at work on South Leeds Radio, of the area, of the local panto or festival... There'll be recipes from the cooking programme, pictures of flowers to tie in with the gardening. As time goes by we shall include some video. West Yorkshire Media and South Leeds Radio is a multimedia experience! We aim to give everyone a chance to join in. Tell us what you want to hear

If you're a youth or community group, a college or school, a workplace or day centre, we'd like to work with you. What can we provide that's useful to you? How would you like to use the service? What content would be helpful to your user groups or students? How would they like to interact with South Leeds Radio on the internet - or Would your youth project like to produce, record or DJ a music programme? We want to respond to everyone in the area, so just get in touch.
