Who are L'objectif ?

Imagine if post-punk met indie pop, took a detour through gothic punk, and invited funk and psychedelia along for the ride - that’s the electrifying world of this band ❇

With a gritty, danceable edge and “gloom punk” vibes (as Far Out Magazine calls it), their sound is raw yet dynamic, blending angular guitar riffs, punchy rhythms, and moody atmospheres 🌗

The Guardian dubbed them “noir pop,” and Yahoo! News coined them “grunge pop,” capturing the mysterious and rebellious energy in their music💥

Their style is part of a fresh wave of British post-punk, joining artists like Black Country, New Road, and Dry Cleaning, bringing a dark but thrilling new twist to the scene. The Sunday Times even compared their style to New Order’s intensity, mixed with a Morrissey-meets-Jarvis vocal punch from frontman Saul Kane 🎙

For anyone tuning in, expect fierce, Foals-like melodies and high-adrenaline riffs that keep you on edge. It’s not pure optimism, but it’s not pure darkness either - just a gripping sound you won’t want to miss 🌗

🎸 A Strategy for Integrating New Band Members Smoothly 🎸

Welcoming a new member to your band?

Easily build a strong, cohesive team with these effective strategies:

Warm Welcome
Tip: Make new members feel welcomed from day one. Introduce them to everyone, and create a friendly, inclusive environment.

Clear Expectations
Tip: Discuss roles, responsibilities, and expectations early on. Clear communication helps avoid misunderstandings and sets the tone for collaboration.

Inclusive Rehearsals
Tip: Integrate new members into rehearsals gradually. Start with simpler pieces and work up to more complex songs, allowing them to get comfortable and confident.

Open Communication
Tip: Foster an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas and feedback. Regular check-ins can help address any concerns and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Collaborative Songwriting
Tip: Involve new members in the creative process. Collaborating on songwriting can help them feel more connected to the band’s music and mission.

Social Integration
Tip: Spend time together outside of rehearsals. Social activities and bonding experiences can strengthen relationships and build team spirit.

Patience and Support
Tip: Be patient and supportive as new members learn the ropes. Offer guidance and encouragement to help them integrate smoothly.

✨ Build a stronger, more cohesive band by integrating new members with care and intention. Together, you’ll create music magic! ✨
