It should peak at about 1AM!!!
Tonight, the Orionids meteor shower will light up the skies, offering a spectacular view for stargazers across the UK. For the best experience, head out after midnight when the skies are darkest. Find a spot with minimal light pollution, lie back, and let your eyes adjust to the night. Look towards the constellation Orion—the meteors will appear to radiate from this point, though they can be seen across the sky. No need for telescopes or binoculars—just your eyes and a bit of patience. You might spot up to 20 meteors per hour!

Home Town Snapper

Taking photographs of mundane items like “the fat man’s car”, “the grid” and “the cat from down the road” is how i began my folly into photography. Back then the camera of choice was the supa snaps 35mm snappit cam with 2 flip up squares that acted as an eye piece and a piece of string on the side so you could use it as a cosh if needed - life didn’t get much better for 5 year old me. It wasn’t until my mum had paid for the film to be developed that she could see that i had a passion for photography - even if i didn’t yet know what i was doing.

29 years and about 8 cameras later I’m now working with a very handsome set up capable of taking some breathtaking photographs. The equipment i have is also capable of making 1080p videos (blu-ray or hd dvd quality) and to date i’ve produced over 100 videos for clients AND for fun.

I’m a family man who understands the value of great photos which spark greater memories. I much prefer to shoot people in natural light at outdoor locations - catching them off guard, I find that the photographs taken as people are enjoying themselves tell more of a story than just having a doleful look into dead space.

I live by the seaside - beside the sea - and love taking my own photographs of the town. Some of my photographs are used for the on-line publication - The BPL Bible of which i am also the editor. So basically in my spare time I take photographs of life, nature, anything that catches my eye AND on occasion i take a client out for a photo shoot. I can arrange for a studio space to be made available if required.
