What a year this is turning out to be. Rest in Peace Elliot Scott - you worked for us for a while. Your unique style entertained a lot of people on the Fylde Coast.

It is with a very heavy heart we must announce.

We are sorry we haven’t been posting much recently, but our owners partner Gayna Sedgwick who’s family owned all 3 of Blackpool’s Piers passed away on New Year’s Day. We are heartbroken. Peter Sedgwick said he would like to thank everyone for their phone calls messages, flowers and cards at this heartbreaking time your kind words and wonderful memories of our beautiful girl have helped us through these recent days. We have now arranged a date and time to celebrate her life and lay her to rest. Her funeral will proceed along Blackpool prom on Thursday, the 25th of January at 10:45, starting from North Pier and outside her business The Pyramid Plaza. Anyone who wishes to pay their respects can line the prom. This is an opportunity to say goodbye and pay your respects. She will then continue down the promenade to Lytham crematorium where her service will be held at 11:30, for close family and friends. The ceremony will be streamed to her pub at No13 Bonny Street, Blackpool. Where a book of condolences is available. She was an amazing women who touched so many lives - Gayna you are forever in our hearts. Until we meet again sweetheart - love Rick xx

High winds bringing disruption to Blackpool

TOUR UPDATE:

Unfortunately due to the continued high winds affecting our overhead wires, the tramway is still suspended until further notice.

This unfortunately means that our tours are cancelled for today and as we are not sure what level of service we will be able to operate tomorrow, we have made the decision to cancel the illumination tours for tomorrow evening too.

We are really sorry for the disappointment that this will cause to all our bookings but we have to keep both our staff and customers safe during this time.
