Say what you see! 👀🏆 The Vapors UK’s latest digital single, Eyes On The Prize, is out now on all your favourite download and streaming services (links below).
It’s classic Vapors and then some. There are guitars, of both the electric and acoustic persuasions! There are drums! There’s bass, and lots of it! And there’s Dave’s striking vocal timbre as the backdrop for once again attempting to interpret the inner workings of his mind through his lyrics!
There are also synthesisers! There are ridiculous falsetto harmonies! There’s sonic tomfoolery that turns Steve’s bass into the bastard lovechild of a foghorn and a didgeridoo! There’s a Westlife-getting-off-their-stools moment almost immediately after a Chuck Berry-influenced 1950s blues guitar solo! This track has everything you know and love about The Vapors, and a lot of things you never knew you needed in your life.
