2024 is almost over, although there's still multiple edits to work on before the year is out - for which we are very grateful.

As everyone else is looking back, we thought we would do the same so here's a bunch of stuff about Silvertip Films in 2024...

This year, Mike had to move on but sometimes things happen for a reason and it opened the door to Elodie joining us straight after graduation from college.

The future is bright, Elodie brings so much to what we do here and is great company, great with clients and great on a camera and edit program too!

We did a lot of different things in 2024, as we always do including...

⭐Multiple live theatre shoots for Guildford Shakespeare Company
⭐New headshots with Sophie Ward Photography
⭐Two large projects for InterSend and Martin Clark on camera
⭐Multiple videos for Green People including Paid For ad content
⭐Nutcracker Ballet filming
⭐Did a week of Buddhist retreat livestreaming, plus seminar livestreams in London and a community event livestream
⭐A large, multiple filming day project for a funeral director
⭐A large, multiple filming day documentary project about end of life care
⭐Multiple screening sessions and an Awards Night for Horsham Film Festival
⭐Ran the second Introduction to Videography workshop
⭐Took podcasting skills into work podcasting with the National Trust
⭐Worked with Horshams new BID initiative to develop their videos
⭐Produced more videos for Horsham District Council and their Business Training Programme
⭐Developed our working relationship with Collyers College and helped at their Media Hub sessions

And that’s a wrap on 2024!

Well, for filming anyway!

Last filming session of the year at Slinfold Golf & Country Club this evening!

They wanted a new, short social video to showcase their new on refurbed gym but the snag was - it’s almost always open!

When could we film it?!

We found a window today when it closed early for the staff Christmas party, so we dashed in, shot the stuffing out of it and dashed out again!

We’ll start editing over Christmas and be ready to release the video soon!

So for now, this is us saying thank you to everyone who hired us this year, all the crew and friends we worked with, all the Horsham businesses that supported us, all the film festival submitters and viewers and everyone who liked anything we did on social!

Today was almost the last filming day of the year…but not quite!

We spent the day with the team and the guys from the The Butterfly Project - Support Hub to film some interviews and b-roll with them, talking about a very exciting initiative they have been working on for a long time!

More will be revealed soon but for now, thanks to everyone who helped with filming today and went on camera for us!

At the end of November, our Senior School students performed 'Wings of an Angel', a wonderfully thought-provoking and uplifting play written and directed by our Head of Drama and Theatre, Mrs Spires 🤩

Based on 'It's a Wonderful Life' and 'The Greatest Gift', this fabulous production certainly showcased the theatrical talent we are proud to have here at Farlington - both on stage and behind the scenes 🙌

Featuring beautiful costumes, spectacular sets, and magical lighting and effects, this festive show was a real treat - as you can see from this trailer 🥰

We headed to the outskirts of London today to film with the at their Orpington HQ!

Today was an interview with founder and outgoing CEO Sally about the charities origins, their work with children with complex disabilities and the effects this work and support has had on the children, families and staff over the years.

We also spoke with a parent and her child and heard first-hand about the work they’ve done and we spoke to some of the team as well about their involvement.

It’s been a good day, discovering stories and helping tell them on camera.

It’s such a fun and exciting experience to be asked back to collaborate with the local college, especially for Elodie as she graduated from Collyers early this year.
It’s always a good time when we are with Rebecca and we look forward to coming back to see the students rushes ❤️

We’ve been with some green people today…

Literally - greenpeopleuk!

The organic lifestyle brand which makes natural beauty products is based near us in Horsham.

We spent the day filming against their purpose built backdrop with their CEO Charlotte talking about various topics as well as some testimonials from users of the product range.
