Well done Horsham Rugby Club who had a fantastic result on Saturday beating Brighton 20-7 for the first time in over 20 years.

Horsham climb to seventh in Regional 1 South Central, which is the fifth tier of the national league pyramid.

Scores came from a first half Jack Thompson try following good line-out play and snipe by man of the match Aaron Linfield, and five penalties from Oli Chennell in an outstanding kicking display.

It was great to catch up with Colin Minto at Hop Oast yesterday and learn more about his 'Hands up for Help' group which is is a community neighbourhood watch initiative essentially, to offer support to those feelings vulnerable, intimidated or threatened at any time.

The entire Horsham Remembrance Parade 🌺 We were asked by a follower if anyone had recorded it. Thankyou to another follower for sending this in.

A big thanks to Leader of Horsham District Council Cllr Martin Boffey. Yesterday he played the Last Post in the Carfax from Gail’s balcony - and then went on to do the same again from the centre circle at Horsham FC.

Huge, huge shoutout to Paul Stanworth - Musician. We asked him to play at HFC as part of our Armistice Day HFC match sponsorship. We also asked if him if we knew "Altogether Now" the song about the Christmas Day truce in 1914 when soldiers from both sides put their weapons down, and met in no mans land to exchange gifts and play football. We thought this would be an appropriate song to play at a football match on Armistice Day. He said he didn't know it bit he would learn it for the occasion. And by pure coincidence look what was on the TV as he was playing it. 🌺 Thank you Paul!

Check out these two great free kicks from James Hammond! ⚽⚽ He has scored with a free kick two weeks in a row for Horsham FC (his first two goals for Horsham). We were behind the goal for both of them, and it was great to see the fan reactions (excited child in the first, and Canadian visitors at their first HFC match in the second). We love Non League Football :)
