Unfortunately, Smokestack Studios will be closed from tomorrow until further notice due to the latest national lockdown. We're gutted to be closing again, but look forward to welcoming everyone back in December if it's safe to do so.

Bad Bear Studio is now Smokestack Studios!

We've been working really hard over the past few months to put our stamp on the studio space, and this is the next step on that journey. We have tonnes of future plans for the brand, so watch this space.

We also have some exciting physical changes to announce soon, so keep your eyes peeled. We look forward to seeing you from 1st July!

In line with government advice, we're delighted to announce that we'll be reopening for rehearsals and recordings from 1st July!

As you would imagine, we'll be taking extra precautions to ensure the studio's a safe place for everyone to enjoy.

As you've probably guessed, we've shut up shop for a bit.

Due to the current situation, we won't be offering rehearsals or recordings for a little while until things blow over.

We took over the running of the studio at the beginning of this year, working hard to put our stamp on the rooms and make using the space as comfortable as possible. We've loved it, and aren't going to give it up easily. We're in it for the long run, but we need your help.

If you've ever rehearsed or recorded with us before, please do come and see us when things have calmed down a bit. We're really going to need your support!

Until then, stay safe, stay indoors (if you can) and get writing.

We have some exciting plans for the studio this year, including a rebrand, so keep your eyes peeled for news on that soon.

With Christmas upon us I'd like to say thanks to everyone who has supported bad bear studio for the last 3 and a half years, it's been epic! So let me introduce to you the new bad bear team, josh Rowe, Ryan Anthony Wilson and David gauld....these gorgeous faces will be booking you in and attending your musical needs, whilst I fark orf to laandaaan where I shall be opening a new bad bear there in the summer.
