Our final total raised for our fundraising event for Challenging MND is £3000.

We can’t thank you enough for your support and help to raise such a fantastic sum.

Special thanks to lthe bands and djs for putting on a great shows, also to Groovy Graham for his amazing poster design that Boab made into a t-shirt for the event with all proceeds going to

Sunstone have covered all venue costs and donated 20% of all album and merchandise sales on the day.

Giving us a grand total £3000.

Big thanks to all the staff at McChuills for our album playback event and to all the staff at Mono Cafe Bar for our album launch.❤️

We now move on to our next project and hope to be releasing more music in the coming months.

What an amazing day!

That was special, it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves.

Thanks to The Imagineers and Figure 5 for putting on a great show. Both bands were on top form. To all the Djs for playing great sets.👌

Also a big thanks to those that helped make the event possible and run smoothly on the day.

Thanks to everyone that bought tickets making it a sold out event and all those that bought raffle tickets and merchandise.

We are still calculating the sums we will post how much we raised for Challenging MND in the coming days ❤️✌️

Album Playback 7pm Saturday McChuills

This Saturday Sunstone Records album playback at McChuills.

McChuills is where bands on the album started out back in 2004, band members worked there, djed, ran nights and hung out. Earning the nickname “The Gang Hut” that continues to this day.

Then and Now” volume 1, a double gatefold vinyl album featuring Figure 5, The Rudiments,The Imagineers and The Poachers.

Dj Walter Pistol (Nicky Wright) from The Rudiments will be playing the album in full with a selection of sounds that influenced the bands on the album.

We are super excited to release our first double vinyl compilation album, “Then and Now” featuring Figure 5, The Rudiments,The Imagineers and The Poachers. The album is a time capsule of the labels releases over the past 20 years, featuring unreleased tracks and a first time pressing on 180mg vinyl.

Album launch Sunday 30th June at Mono Cafe Bar & Venue, Glasgow. Performing live we have Figure 5 & special guest support TBA. Also we have some of Glasgows finest 45 selectors & collectors playing across the day.

Sunstone Records would like to thank Challenging MND for helping to part finance this release and for their continuous work to support the wishes of those who suffer with MND. You can support this cause at www.challengingmnd.org

This will be a fund raising event with all door proceeds after costs going to Challenging MND.

There will also be a raffle on the day to win signed albums, test pressings and a one off poster for the event created by Groovy Graham, more raffle items TBA.

Sunstone Records and The Poachers would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came along to show support at our single launch at The Glad Cafe.

It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces from over the years, it was so good to see all their kids dancing away and enjoying the family friendly event.

We’d like to thank everybody that bought merchandise to show support to the band and label. What a fantastic turnout from everyone. The day was a roaring success on all fronts with the gig selling out a 120 capacity venue.

This new recording draws on melodic Americana influences with its own Caledonian Folk twist. We have been busy through December/January working away on our two releases due for May and June, The Poachers 7” is being mastered and art work is well underway. Our double vinyl compilation album of past and present releases is at the track listing stage and art work at the ideas stage
