We are excited to finally announce Slam's triumphant return to their spiritual home beneath Glasgow's iconic brick Arches. On Saturday, October 26th, the duo will play a one-off five hour set, playing from open to close for the first time since the venue's closure 🔥

A sneak peak into System Theories studio as he works on his latest track, ’27 Miles,’ out now on Soma Neu Vol. 1 🔥 System Theory is the new alias of Glasgow based DJ and producer Craig Hamilton, born of the desire to showcase a darker, more unconstrained side of his creative process. The project allows Hamilton to embrace the creative freedom to explore beyond typical structures and constraints through hard hitting, hypnotic techno focused on groove. “This was the first track that I had written under my System Theory alias. I had just returned from a 27 mile round trip to Paisley and I was feeling stuck in a rut creatively, wanting to break free of any constraints within the creative process. The majority of the track was created in the box, utilising various single hit samples recorded from drum machines to create the main body of the track, layering in percussive elements from Roland Cloud and the Elektron Digitakt over big dub chords.”
