THE UK’s MOST LOVED MEXICAN BRAND TORTILLA HAS LAUNCHED THE UK’s FIRST EVER CHEESEBURGER SMASH BURRITO!

JOIN TORTILLA IN CELEBRATING THE ULTIMATE FLAVOUR MASHUP RANGE WITH BURGER INSPIRED BURRITO’S, TACO’S OR QUESADILLA’S

The UK’s most loved Mexican restaurant Tortilla has created an exciting new flavour combination with the launch of their new cheeseburger flavoured burrito and tacos!

Tortilla, the real California burrito and taco joint, is known for creating delicious, freshly made meals from scratch using only quality ingredients.

And now the innovative chefs at Tortilla have created the Tortilla ‘Beef Smash’ burrito which has been designed to taste just like a cheeseburger.

This fascinating new offering from Tortilla has been created alongside a whole new ‘smashed’ range of dishes.

For a limited time only the ‘Smash range’ features the Smash Tres Tacos, Smash Burrito or Naked Burrito, Smash Quesadilla and Smash Nachos Queso.

The cheeseburger-flavoured beef smash is a savoury blend seasoned with a tangy mix of ketchup, mustard and mayo, creating the familiar taste. The perfectly balanced combination gives the beef a rich flavour with a hint of sweetness and a slight tang, perfectly seasoned and irresistibly delicious!

Tortilla has designed the new dishes to bring the iconic cheeseburger experience to every burrito or taco bite.

The perfect partnership coincides with the cheeseburger’s 100th birthday which is believed to have originated in Pasadena, California, a perfect match for Tortilla’s Cali- style burritos and tacos

The Smash Burrito contains Beef smash, Mexican rice, monterey jack cheese, chipotle cheese sauce, crisp lettuce, chipotle mayo, pico de gallo, salsa ranchera and pickled onions.

The Smash Tres Tacos contains Beef smash, chipotle cheese sauce, crisp lettuce, chipotle mayo and pickled onions.

The Smash Quesadilla contains Beef smash, monterey jack cheese, pico de gallo, served with dip.

Smash Nachos Queso contains Tortilla chips, beef smash, chipotle cheese sauce, guacamole, pico de gallo.

These unique limited time menu items will be available from Tuesday September 3 for six weeks, subject to availability and for Burrito Society members the dishes will gain two stamps via the new Tortilla app.

Tortilla is also bringing back the customer favourite - Taco Tuesdays – from September 10 – October 15, Burrito Society members via the new Tortilla app will get two smash tacos for the price of one if they visit after 3pm

Taco Tuesday – 2 for1 Smash Tacos. Buy one medium Smash Taco and get one free (cheapest free) available in the app for use once on a Tuesday each week during the promotion period. Download the Tortilla app and sign up to the Burrito Society to redeem this offer. Available every Tuesday from 3pm-close, September 10 – l5 October.

Last month Tortilla Mexican Grill, the largest and most successful fast-casual Mexican restaurant group in Europe, launched its first ever app including a new loyalty programme – The Burrito Society.

The new app brings together like-minded burrito fans, rewarding customers for their loyalty.

The new rewards programme also promises to offer surprise perks that drop into the app, especially for its most loyal customers.
