Barracuda Bench Dedication, Port Soderick, 11 September 2024
WATCH: This evening a service was held at the Heroes On The Water Isle of Man HQ in Port Soderick, aka “Barracuda Bay”.
It saw the Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer formally dedicate a “barracuda bench” to the memory of Fleet Air Arm Airmen who lost their lives there when undergoing dive/torpedo bomber training during the Second World War.
