Hiya! I'm Brook Wassall, I'm 31 years old and I have been working as a Videographer & Editor on & off for about 10 years!

What is your role in the company?
- Assistant Videographer & Editor

Favourite interests?
- Photography, music & watching films!

When are you most productive?
- I'm pretty flexible. I can sometimes be an absolute night owl when working, it can much easier to get carried away with work at ridiculous hours! But I also love getting stuck into work first thing in the morning and checking it off the list.

What are your strongest skills?
- I'm really driven by passion projects, they keep me focused and make me want to learn new skills to create better work. I also think it's really important to enjoy what you create, as well as surrounding yourself with the things you love (For me it's visuals & art!). I'm not sure if it's a skill, but it's certainly a mentality that a lot of people can forget about. So managing to stay happy & creative is definitely my most valuable trait I try to keep up!

Hello! My name is Thomas Walmsley, I am 24 years old and I have been working as a Videographer & Editor for the last 6 years!

What is your role in the company?
- Director & Videographer. 🎬

- Cortado from .im (Along with a McPeel of course) ☕️

When are you most productive?
- I am absolutely a night-owl. My typical day is getting to the office around 10:00, and then working until later into the night! 🌌

What are your strongest skills?
- I think I have a solid eye for opportunities and have always been able to learn quickly. Even from when I was 12 years old running around being a little business man, creating birdhouses out of the wood from our old shed and selling them to neighbours. I have always just jumped into so many different hobbies, it’s basically a running joke in the office that I seem to be learning a new skill or hobby every month on the dot!

After 6 years, I am finally pleased to announce my new company!

Belmont Media Group Limited has been in the making since 2016, from filming kayak videos back in the day, all the way to where we are now with our amazing client base and growing in-house team!

So, why did I start this company?

Being self-employed for the last 6 years has been absolutely amazing, but it was always my plan to launch a production company that was more suitable to bring on team members and scale.

It hit me most around this time last year, where I ended up getting so swamped with video projects, I had to work 16/18 hour workdays regularly, even sleeping on the office floor at many points to get edits turned around on time.

This obviously lead to significant burnout, and I decided it was time to make the next leap.

I gave a shout, met up with him and discussed my plans for this company - explaining how much I would love to bring him onboard as our in-house editor and second videographer!

His enthusiasm for the idea was infectious, and after completing a few projects together, it was clear that we both had a similar videography style, and a passion for quality video storytelling.

So, what is BelmontMediaGroup?

BMG is “a full service media production house that specialises in video production, wedding films & podcasts.”

This company is basically the main production house that allows us to operate our other business’s;

- ( Our Wedding Film Production Company )
- ( Our Podcast Production Company )
- And ( Me! Now producing videos, as a part of BMG ).

We are going to be producing the same cinematic and high quality video content that you have come to expect, but now we are able to offer this to more people with a speedy turnaround!

Even in the last couple of weeks, the quality that we have been providing is something that I am super proud of and it makes me so excited to see where this company is headed!

Thanks to everyone who has made this possible so far and I cant wait to share what we have been up to!
