Sudanese Film Making Association

The Sudanese Filmmaking Association (SFMA) initiated an impactful project uniting displaced Sudanese creatives through a mentorship program and financial exchange. From April to September 2023, 183 workshops and 26 masterclasses facilitated the creation of 7 films and 2 documentary series by Sudanese refugees. This collaborative community of filmmakers, affected by war, utilizes creativity to share their stories, fostering dignity and earning a valuable income.
