Cardiff Mini Film Festival is a festival for low budget filmmakers trying to get into the industry. Our events are the perfect opportunity for someone trying to break into the industry and we regular host guest speakers and networking events so that you can learn, collaborate and create. We regularly take over empty shops, live music venues and any historical buildings we can get our hands on. Pas

Narrative - Philip John (Director of Being Human and Downton Abbey)
Documentary - Boyd Clack (Actor in Twin Town, Satelite City and Baker Boys) & Kirsten Jones (High Hopes and Tutu & the Temple of Peace)
Action/Thriller - John Shackleton (Producer of Panic Button and Director of We Are Monsters)
Acting - Adam O'Brian (Lead actor in BAFTA award winning, Imposter)
Feature Film - Elizabeth Morgan Hemlock (Producer of award winning, Mugabe and The White African)
Female Director - Nerys Evans (Producer/Director at S4C & ITV)
Welsh Language - Daf Palfrey (Director of DIY SOS, S4C dramas and music videos for the Superfurry Animals)
Art/Experimental - Merlin Crossingham (Animator and director at Aardman Animations)
Young Film Maker (Under 18) - Keri Collins (BAFTA Cymru nominated director who has written and directed for the BBC)
