Home Brewed Recording Studio: is based in an annex to our family home, so it’s all yours when you're here. It’s private, friendly and relaxed, as virtually every testimonial on my website confirms. Our main aim is to use recording and video, not only to produce the finished CD or VIDEO to a high standard but also to help with the development of new and less experienced artists, both singers and si

nger songwriters. To build their confidence as those initial nerves fade away replaced by a greater understanding of what happens behind those mysterious studio doors and of course - the all important "HAVE FUN". So many young singers have already performed in a variety of school and music group performances, many have brilliant vocal coaches. Unfortunately so few have any experience of recording studios. Recording is a completely different experience to performing live. In the studio I encourage you to try things. If you make a mistake we simply remove it. We only keep the good bits. You'll be fully involved from the initial singing right through the mixing and mastering of your finished recording. We then take loads of photos and you choose one to go on your very own CD. Having said that here's a list of some of the other things we do:

You, a friend or a family member, come over and record a song or two, possibly have a video produced. Truly the perfect surprise gift for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, family abroad or maybe just for someone who needs a smile. Performers/Artists:
Record your CD/DVD for sales and/or promotional use.- Have backing tracks written, keys changed, etc. School Music GCSE / A levels:
Have your ‘compositions’ professionally recorded. Make best use of studio tools and techniques to ensure the best possible submissions and results. Wedding Days:
Have a song recorded to play as you or a loved one walk down the aisle. Help Celebrate the Life of a loved one. Having the right song professionally pre-recorded to play at the service will add to those special memories and provide an option for the chosen friend/family member who, understandably, might not be able to sing on the day. Song Writing: (For all ages and ability):
There are very few things more satisfying than writing your own song. Something I will always encourage. If this is something you'd like to try then I'd love to help.

At 4.15 pm this afternoon Owain White will be playing recordings on his Rhondda Radio Drive Time Show, from the final two young singers who took part in the recent "Welsh Voices For Ukraine" event which raised £3,000 for DniproKids.
1. Charley Jones singing Billie Eilish's "I Love You"
2. Gracie Jayne Fitzgerald singing Post Modern Juke Box's version of "7 Nations Army".
Both girls got through to the last round of The Voice Kids 2018 and are definitely worth a listen.

The show raised £3,000 for DniproKids, the charity caring for Ukrainian orphans.

Welsh Voices For Ukraine
I can finally confirm that we did in fact raise £3,000 for DniproKids.
I would like to thank:
Everyone who came to the show or donated.
All the performers (in alphabetical order), Amelia Evans, Charley Jones, CMC, Eva Ossei-Gerning, Gracie Jayne Fitzgerald, Jolie Stevens, Leighton Jones, Owen Thomas, Rachael Morgan-Kane and Trinity-Leigh Cooper, for providing such a brilliant night’s entertainment.
Shamaine Egal-Johnson and Tanya Harrison (THM) for their help and also their work supporting and developing these young talents.
This show would never have happened the way it did without the financial help and support from these individuals and companies.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to an evening I for one thoroughly enjoyed.
I look at these photos and they really bring home the amazing young talent who came together to entertain us.
I am still waiting for the final ticket sales money to come through from the ticketing company. Once I’ve received the final sums I’ll let everyone know exactly how much we raised.

While I wait for the photos and the remainder of the ticket sales money to come through so I have a final figure to announce I'd just like to do some individual Thank You's.
So let's start with CMC (Contemporary Music Collective) who I thought were absolutely amazing. They looked great and sounded great. So many excellent individual voices coming together into one beautiful sound. What made it even more special, for me, was no matter where I saw any of them on the night, they were always smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves.
I didn't get the chance to meet you all but I hopefully will over the weeks and months ahead.

Welsh Voices For Ukraine.

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to support this event yesterday, to everyone who helped put it together and of course to all the truly incredible young performers.
It's just my opinion, but I would class it as a Success!
We raised a lot of money for DniproKids, heard some of the best young voices in the UK, and we had a lot of fun.
I am waiting for the photos to be ready and the ticket money to be received and I'll do another post with the total amounts raised.
