Silkcrayon is giving away £500 cash plus a £2000 package to one dedicated artist who can show they’ve got what it takes to be the face of Welsh rap. 🎙
You will be judged on authenticity, realness and dedication to the artform. 😤
This is a strictly NO cap competition. We want to hear what makes YOU different ❌ 🧢
This competition is divided into three phases.
PHASE 1
Post a video of you spitting your realest verse tagging @silkcrayon with the hashtag #Silkcrayon2020 - The deadline for these submissions will be Friday the 11th of December ⏰
We will review your submissions and pick 5 artists to progress to phase 2 of the competition. These 5 artists will be announced on Saturday the 12th of December 🎤
PHASE 2
During phase 2 of the competition we will invite the 5 chosen artists to attend free private sessions at Silkcrayon Studio where we will record their verse and help develop it into a full written freestyle. 📝
Following this we’ll film a freestyle video for each song at Silkcrayon Studio which will be uploaded to our Youtube channel. 🎬
PHASE 3
In Phase 3 our 5 chosen artists will have 2 weeks to utilise their fanbases, as the song with the most votes through a poll on our website will be chosen as the winner to receive £500 cash and a £2000 artist booster package including:
The production and recording of a new single
A full mix and master in LA
A photoshoot
A Silk Gold Music Video
Artist mentorship
This will be announced on the 31st of December.
