Last Saturday, Monika Wiacek from the Polish Waves team took part (along with her son) in a charity walk for Cancer Research UK #ShineWalk in Cambridge. Thanks to Cancer Research, many people affected by the disease can receive new treatments by participating in trials which can prolong their lives when standard chemo no longer helps.
