Hi all - I have been working on converting my book to an Audio book. Here is a link to the intro and chapter 1. I would be most great full if you could have a listen and let me know your thoughts

City Limits - Villages clinging to the walls of the city have prospered over time selling their wares to the passing carriages and journeymen. I got a new skydome, which gives me full control of the sky and weather.

The dominant walls of the inner city loom over the scavenger villages that have prospered selling to the passing journeymen. I explored with water in this scene, another element of realism at my disposal. I used to build a lot with lego and now I can create worlds with digital lego pieces.

End Of The Road - I had this idea of a spooky graveyard with gnarly trees and gothic architecture but as the image developed it turned into quite a solemn piece. A lot of this was modelled in Blender first like the trees, iron railings and the graves. I was torn between two compositions - click the link to see the other version. Let me know which one you like the best.

I started playing around with a few ideas in Blender before I began to create a strong composition. I wanted to tell a story rather than just having a path to the chapel which is why I included the body on the cart. I was torn between two compositions so I included them both. This is a mixture of Me...

This is my first attempt at an unreal 3d image using models that I have purchased and the Quixel library. Creating this landscape allowed me to learn Unreal and also understand depth and lighting. I did some finishing touches in Photoshop and DXO's Nik Collection.

Trees at Dawn

I can see this line of trees in the distance from my back garden. I have always wanted to photograph them. It has taken me almost five years to get up there and find them but on this day I did just that. I made sure that there was going to be a nice ...

Early rise

This wasn't the shot I originally went out for but I got chased away by bulls in my original spot. I wasn't going to waste this lively sunset or the fact that I got up at 4:30 am to see it. So I wondered on down the country lane and found this great ...

A Warming ray of light

A Warming ray of light

After being chased by bulls in another field I came accross this little jem. I set up my camera and tripod and waited for the sun to peak up over the brow of the horrizon. As it did it reached out with a single ray of light to warm the land.

And the forest begins

And the forest begins

Really liked the compostion here as the low canopy of the tree in the middle ground almost beckons you into the depths of the forest under a brooding sky. Its just a nice place to be with only the tweeting of birds that travel in the wind.

Love rabbits, they are so cute and friendly looking. I like how they hop along revealing their white fluffy tails.

I had never scene a baby donkey before I think they are foals I am not sure. It took a while for him to be ok with the camera but I managed to get one of him away from his mother. It even looks like he is smiling.

Ethereal Purple

I was out walking around Wickwar north of Sodbury in Bristol and came across this little gem. The light was pocking through the trees and shining down on a stream. A fallen tree almost dammed the stream.
