We fired up Bessie this morning and she’s sounding great!

My enduring thanks to Tony Bryant at Sunny Studio, Paul Pascoe at Church Road Recording Company, Sandra Cammock (design angel) and John Evans, guitarist extraordinaire. The majority of the vocals were recorded with care and humour by Tony at Sunny Studio. Final mixing and mastering was carried out with patience and encouragement by Paul at Church Road. Both Tony and Paul’s engineering genius helped translate the sounds from my head into the language of Logic. Likewise, Sandra’s expert design skills turned my initial concept into a beautiful tea towel. And John’s fab, jangly guitar riffs bring to life “London-by-the-sea”. Love you all!!! Special mention also to Isobel Anderson at Girls Twiddling K***s, from whom I learnt not only a new set of recording skills, but also the importance of self-reliance and self-confidence. Lastly, but not leastly, thanks to my hubby Simon for his unwavering enthusiasm and critical ear!
